Descripción
Sumario:The research aimed to determine the relationship between visual memory and reading comprehension in children five years of School Home No. 314 - Rupacucha the district of Rioja in 201 O, to achieve this general objective, made three specific objectives, which are about the description of the variables independently and the relationship between them. Research variables are visual memory and reading comprehension, visual memory comprises two dimensions: the approach to the graphical components and initial l.iteracy, reading comprehension, was measured at the literal level. Correlational research, the level predictive correlational design transactional, was conducted with a sample of 34 children 5 years of age who develop visual memory test and a test of reading comprehension. The collected data were processed through the distriblltion of frequencies and the Pearson correlation coefficient, hypothesis testing was performed. by comparing the Pearson coefficient of correlation parameters, considering that the relationship is direct when the coefficient is positive and relationship is reversed when negative. According to the Pearson correlation coefficient equal to 0.89, visual memory is directly proportional to reading comprehension in children five years of School No. 314 MI- Rupacucha district of Rioja in 2010.
