Sumario: | ABSTRACT The present research work has the purpose of determining the influence of the "pedagogy of tenderness" program in the affirmation of the identity of the first grade students of secondary education of the I.E.P. "White Brothers". Trujillo - 2018. The population was 30 students and the sample was the same as that of the population, to whom the measurement instruments were applied. The procedures used were those provided by statistics, starting with the construction of tables, construction of graphs and the application of the statistical test of hypothesis testing to test the research hypothesis. It was determined in the students, that 63.3% of them obtained a very good level in the post test after the application of the "pedagogy of tenderness" program, likewise 53.3% of them obtained a very good level in the dimension Mime is valued and 66.7% of the students obtained a very good level in the dimension Self-regulation of emotions in post test; finally determining that there is a significant difference between the scores obtained in the post test and those obtained in the pre-test in Affirmation of the identity (p <0.05), as a result of the application of the "pedagogy of tenderness" program. The same situation occurred in the dimensions considered (p <0.05). It was concluded that the application of the "pedagogy of tenderness" program significantly influences the affirmation of the identity of the first-grade students of secondary education of the I.E.P.
