Identificar el nivel de conocimiento y tipo de actitud frente al Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH) entre los docentes de primaria de dos Instituciones educativas públicas de la provincia de Ica, año 2023. Estudio observacional, descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal, diseño cuantitativo. La muestra final estuvo constituida por 40 profesores de primaria, la recolección de los datos se realizó durante octubre y noviembre del 2023. Se empleó un instrumento previamente validado: un cuestionario sobre conocimientos y actitudes del profesor frente al TDAH. Se realizó análisis univariado y bivariado usando el paquete Stata v.14.0. Para el análisis bivariado entre las variables se empleó la prueba estadística de Chi cuadrado y la prueba exacta de Fisher, considerando el valor P<0.05 como estadísticamente significativo. Se realizó la prueba estadística Rho de Spearman para comprobar la correlación existente entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre TDAH y el tipo de actitud del profesor. Resultados: Se identificó que el 35% de los profesores tienen un bajo nivel de conocimiento sobre el TDAH, y el 52,5% de los profesores presentan actitud desfavorable frente al TDAH. Se encontraron diferencias significativas entre el tipo de actitud del docente y los años de docencia y años de experiencia en educación primaria (P<0.05). Se encontró una correlación positiva entre las variables de nivel de conocimiento y el tipo de actitud de los docentes frente al TDAH. Se encontró un nivel de conocimiento parcial y actitud desfavorable frente el trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad en la mayoría de docentes. ----- To identify the level of knowledge and type of attitude towards Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among primary school teachers of two public educational institutions in the province of Ica, 2023. Observational, descriptive, correlative cross-sectional study, quantitative design. The final sample was 40 school teachers, data collection was carried out during October and November 2023. A previously validated instrument was used: a questionnaire on teacher knowledge and attitudes towards ADHD. Univariate and bivariate analysis was performed using the Stata v.14.0 package. For the bivariate analysis between variables, the Chi-square statistical test and Fisher's exact test were used, considering the value P<0.05 as statistically significant. Spearman's Rho statistical test was performed to test the correlation between the level of knowledge about ADHD and the type of teacher's attitude. Results: It was identified that 35% of teachers have a low level of knowledge about ADHD, and 52.5% of teachers have an unfavorable attitude towards ADHD. Significant differences were found between the type of teacher attitude and years of teaching and years of experience in elementary education (P<0.05). A positive correlation was found between the variables of level of knowledge and type of teacher attitude towards ADHD. A partial level of knowledge and unfavorable attitude toward attention deficit hyperactivity disorder was found in the majority of teachers.
