Sumario: | The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between reading comprehension and learning performance in communication in students in the sixth grade of primary school at the Regina Leonor Cortes Alvarado Educational Institution No. 601594, AA. HH. Alcibiades Torres Huaratapairo - Nauta - Loreto 2022, the type of research was descriptive-quantitative and its design belonged to the correlational design. The population consisted of 152 children of the educational institution, from the first to the sixth grade of primary school, Regina Leonor Cortes Alvarado N° 601594, of the Asentamiento Humano Alcibíades Torres Huaratapairo, district of Nauta, and the sample consisted of 20 students of the sixth grade of primary school, through a non-probabilistic intentional sampling. Among the techniques applied were indirect observation and the survey, the instruments being the test and the questionnaire. In general, it was found that in spite of not having obtained highly positive results in the students' learning, these are influenced by the level of reading comprehension of each of the boys and girls who were part of the sample, but better teaching strategies should be strengthened to improve learning. Finally, it was possible to prove that there is a relationship between reading comprehension and communication learning in the children who were part of the study sample. |
