Sumario: | The research had the following general objective: Determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievements in secondary school students of the Regina Leonor Cortez Alvarado educational institution, Loreto (Nauta) 2022). The research was non-experimental. The general design used was descriptive and correlational. The population was made up of 344 students from the Regina Leonor Cortez Alvarado Educational Institution, Loreto (Nauta) 2022). The sample that was applied was the census sample, that is, we worked with the total study population. The data collection instrument that was used was the questionnaire to know the development of emotional intelligence and the official transcripts to identify the learning achievements of the students of the Regina Leonor Cortez Alvarado Educational Institution, Loreto (Nauta) 2022). The most important results are: tc = 109.01 > tt = 3.14, df = 6; ? = 1%, when applying the contingency coefficient, r = 49% was obtained, which indicates that there is a relationship between the variables under study, with a degree of 49%. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted: "There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievements in secondary school students of the Regina Leonor Cortez Alvarado educational institution, Loreto (Nauta) 2022)". |
