El profesor, continuamente está obligado a realizar simultánea un sin fin de actividades, que van desde el cuidado y mantenimiento de la escuela, ambientación de aula, planeación de actividades docentes, elaboración de materiales didácticos, entre otras, y al mismo tiempo mantener constantes relaciones con: padres de familia, autoridades, compañeros y estudiantes, lo que implica un duro esfuerzo, una significativa carga psíquica en el trabajo. Así mismo se plantea los principales aspectos teóricos sobre el síndrome de burnout o estrés laboral como son sus orígenes, definiciones, conceptos relacionados o vinculados los instrumentos de medida del síndrome, sus componentes como el agotamiento emocional, la despersonalización y falta de realización profesional y las principales teorías en las cuales se sustenta su estudio, dando a conocer sus causas sus consecuencias, otros.
