Materiales Y Métodos: se realizó una entrevista presencial teniendo como instrumento un cuestionario conformado por 20 ítems, teniendo como muestra 250 pobladores mayores de 20 años, diseño no experimental, trasversal, tiene un enfoque cuantitativo. Resultado: en el presente estudio todos los encuestados indicaron sobre la efectividad de las plantas medicinales para tratar enfermedades digestivas. Las plantas que se utiliza para tratar enfermedades digestivas son muña (26%), seguido mula huacatay (22.8%), orégano (14%), manzanilla (13.2%), anís (11.20%) hierbabuena (8.80%) y por último toronjil (4%) y los malestares digestivos más comunes que se tratan con plantas medicinales son la indigestión (26.8%), cólicos estomacales (20.4%), úlceras (15.6%), gases (12.8%), vómitos (10.8%), diarrea (7.6%), por último, dolor abdominal (6%). la forma de preparación más común fue la infusión (77.6%). Conclusión: se logró realizar de manera satisfactoria el estudio etnofarmacológico de plantas medicinales empleadas para tratar problemas digestivos en poblado de Chiara. De hecho, todos los pobladores de la comunidad utilizan plantas medicinales como primera opción para combatir los problemas digestivos.

Conclusión: se logró realizar de manera satisfactoria el estudio etnofarmacológico de plantas medicinales empleadas para tratar problemas digestivos en poblado de Chiara. De hecho, todos los pobladores de la comunidad utilizan plantas medicinales como primera opción para combatir los problemas digestivos.Objective: to carry out an ethnopharmacological study of the medicinal plants most used to treat digestive diseases in the residents of the community of Chiara, district of Combapata, Canchis, Cusco. Materials and Methods: a survey was carried out through an interview consisting of 20 items, having as ours 250 residents, over 20 years old, non-experimental, transversal design, with a qualitative approach. Result: in the present study, all respondents indicated the effectiveness of medicinal plants to treat digestive diseases. The plants used to treat digestive diseases are muña (26%), followed by mula huacatay (22.8%), oregano (14%), chamomile (13.2%), anise (11.20%), peppermint (8.80%) and finally lemon balm. (4%) and the most common digestive discomforts that are treated with medicinal plants are indigestion (26.8%), stomach cramps (20.4%), ulcers (15.6%), gas (12.8%), vomiting (10.8%), diarrhea (7.6%), finally, abdominal pain (6%). The most common form of preparation was infusion (77.6%). Conclusion: the ethnopharmacological study of medicinal plants used to treat digestive problems in the town of Chiara was successfully carried out.
