El instrumento aplicado fue el Inventario de Autoestima Forma Escolar de Coopersmith (1967) adaptado por Llerena (1995). Entre las conclusiones se halló que un 53.7% (29) de los estudiantes del segundo grado de secundaria presentaron una autoestima en su nivel general con un promedio alto, un 24.1% (13) de ellos con una alta autoestima y un 22.2% (12) de dichos estudiantes un promedio bajo.
