description El estudio descriptivo y correlacional, no manipulable, recolectan datos, tiempo y variable, entre las variables (funcionamiento familiar y agresividad) aquellos como parte del instrumento que se aplicarán: la Escala APGAR-familiar y el Cuestionario de Agresividad, dando como resultado que la mayor parte de la población presenta disfunción leve, nivel alto de agresividad, agresividad verbal, agresividad física, y hostilidad y nivel medio de ira. Fueron 109 los participantes infractores internos, masculinos. Por otro lado, se concluyó que existe correlación entre funcionamiento familiar y niveles de agresividad, siendo esta inversa y de grado muy bajo; lo mismo ocurre con la primera variable y agresividad física e ira, adicionalmente, se determina una correlación significativa, inversa y débil entre funcionamiento familiar y hostilidad; sin embargo, no se determina correlación significativa entre funcionamiento familiar y agresividad verbal.
