description La presente investigación tiene como propósito principal determinar la relación que existe entre las relaciones intrafamiliares y la agresividad en estudiantes adolescentes de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello se contó con una muestra de 224 estudiantes de entre 12 a 17 años de edad. Utilizando una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia y un estudio de tipo básico con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal. Donde las herramientas usadas para la recopilación de datos fueron extraídos a través de dos instrumentos como lo son el cuestionario de agresión de Buss y Perry que contiene 29 ítems y la escala de la evaluación de las relaciones intrafamiliares con 56 ítems (se utilizó la versión extensa debido a la falta de adaptabilidad de la versión corta). Así mismo se halló una relación inversa media entre las relaciones intrafamiliares y agresividad (- ,431). Finalmente, se concluyó que mientras mayor sea la funcionalidad familiar más bajos serán los niveles de agresividad en los adolescentes.
