description La presente investigación, tuvo como finalidad realizar el diseño estructural de una vivienda multifamiliar de albañilería confinada en el Distrito de San Juan Bautista, provincia de Ayacucho, tiene un área de 94.00m2 y 4 pisos, en la primera parte, se hace un predimencionamiento, con la ayuda de estudio de mecánica de suelos y el levantamiento topográfico, se hace una verificación de las fuerzas cortantes de la base de la estructura y los desplazamientos de entre piso, a su vez se hace una comparación con otras dos tesis de este tema, como también con una tesis de concreto armado para poder explicar el comportamiento estructural de la edificación.
