Para recoger los datos, se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta con dos cuestionarios; para la variable autoestima se trabajó el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith y el otro referido a Agresividad, el inventario de hostilidad de BussDurkee. Estos cuestionarios fueron aplicados a una muestra de 376 estudiantes de cinco Instituciones Educativas públicas de la UGEL N° 07 de Lima metropolitana. Se encontró que existe una relación significativa entre el nivel de autoestima y la agresividad en la población estudiada, con un nivel de significancia de 0,05 y un nivel de correlación buena de -0,787 y p - valor = 0,000 < 0,01.
