description La investigación tuvo como objetivo, determinar la relación entre el control interno y la gestión de inventario en la UGEL Bellavista, 2023. La investigación fue de tipo básica y de diseño no experimental tipo descriptivo correlacional. La población y muestra estuvieron conformadas por 41 trabajadores. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y se preparó dos cuestionarios estructurados y estandarizados para el acopio de datos. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que el 80.4% de los trabajadores de la UGEL Bellavista consideran que el control interno es medio. Por otro lado, el 73.2% considera que el nivel de gestión de inventario es medio. La principal conclusión de la investigación evidencia que existe una relación positiva baja (Rho de Spearman = 0.316) entre las variables y es significativa en el nivel de 0.05. Asimismo, se estimó el coeficiente de determinación (R2) cuyo valor es de 0.104, esto indica que el 10.4% de variabilidad del control interno en la entidad pública es explicada por la gestión de inventario, de ahí la importancia del manejo de inventarios y por ser un área sensible en el marco de la lucha contra el fraude en la administración pública.
