El estudio fue de diseño no experimental, de tipo básico, de nivel correlacional y enfoque cuantitativo, la muestra estuvo conformada por 385 adolescentes, entre las edades de 10 a 19 años, los instrumentos utilizados para hallar la relación entre las variables fueron el Cuestionario de inteligencia emocional TMMS-24 por Salovey y Mayer y el Cuestionario de Cibervictimización de Álvarez, Núñez y Dobarro. Con respecto a los resultados se demostraron que la Inteligencia Emocional y la Cibervictimización presentaron un nivel de significancia de .170 lo cual indica que es mayor a 0,05, por lo tanto, no hay relación entre ambas variables. Ante ello, se concluye que no existe relación; sin embargo, los adolescentes están expuestos a problemas de ciberacoso y algunas dimensiones intervinientes que pueden alterar dicho problema.
