Los docentes rurales encuentran el fundamento a sus labores y actividades profesionales en las creencias pedagógicas que ellos poseen. Éstas pueden desempeñar un rol ambivalente dentro del proceso pedagógico. En ese sentido, las creencias pedagógicas de los docentes rurales pueden determinar el éxito o el fracaso de la propuesta de educación intercultural bilingüe del PERFAL. Por ello, el presente trabajo se platea identificar las creencias de los docentes rurales con miras a obtener mejores herramientas de análisis para formular una propuesta educativa intercultural más adecuada.

An important actor of this process is obviously the teacher. To continue, I will present the pedagogical beliefs of rural teachers who work in the educational project of Fe y Alegria (PERFAL). Rural teachers find the basement of their tasks and professional activities in the pedagogical beliefs that they have. Now these beliefs may determine the success or failure of PERFAL'S bilingual intercultural education proposal.
