To significantly minimize the environmental impact taken place by the system of having underground mined, it has to arrange the solid residuals and the tailing inside of the mines, occupying the open cavities originated by the exploitation of the ore. This hypothesis demonstrated, the viability of minimizing the environmental impact generate for the mining industry, based on the theoretical mark of the quality mining exploitation. This research demonstrates that if the economic ore is extracted, but the bargain and but the strictly necessary of rock to give access to the machinery, we’ll be able to have inside mines 86% to 88% tailing in new mines, and 100% in old mines as Casapalca mine, with derisive investment of U.S.$ 6 109 000.00, but being achieved great profitability with a Net Present Value (NPV) of U.S.$ 28 400 000.00, and with Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 465%. The application of edible coatings obtainable from alternative biodegradable materials has gained attention as a promising treatment to prolong the shelf-life of fresh-cut vegetables. Thus, this work aimed to develop a biodegradable coating based on fruit and vegetable residues flour. Immersion coating strategy was studied on the quality of minimally fresh-cut carrots during refrigeration storage by means of weight loss, color variation, pH, titratable acidity and soluble solids content. Better performance was obtained for coated carrots, which exhibited a tendency to have lower whiteness index than uncoated counterparts and enhanced overall quality. Despite a drop in color saturation expressed by chroma values (varying from 59 to 46) was observed, color index presented a positive value for all samples (varying from 13 to 15) indicating orange color preservation throughout storage. This work presents the Improvement Study to switch the energy source of a factory producing lime oil and dried lime peel in Northern Peru. The design of the LPG system considered the technical characteristics and requirements for the consumption equipment and its distance towards the storage area in accordance with Peruvian Technical Standards NTP 321.123 and NTP 321.121 (NTP, for its Spanish acronym), and other international standards including NFPA 58, CE and ASME. This study confirmed that the client’s plant layout in the lime oil production line could be optimized by relocating the steam boilers to a different area. Para disminuir significativamente el impacto ambiental producido por el sistema de minado subterráneo, se tiene que disponer los residuos sólidos y los relaves en el interior de minas, ocupando las cavidades abiertas originadas por la explotación del mineral valioso. Esta hipótesis demuestra la viabilidad de disminuir el impacto ambiental producido por la industria minera, basado en el marco teórico de la calidad de la explotación de minas. En el presente estudio se realizó la verificación del sistema de dosimetría personal Harshaw TLD 6600 PLUS usando el método de las pruebas tipo IEC-61066 y las recomendaciones de las normas ISO 4037, para ello se irradiaron 5 dosímetros sobre fantoma de agua usando un irradiador que contenía una fuente de Cs-137, también se usaron 5 dosímetros como testigo. Los parámetros evaluados fueron homogeneidad, límite de detección, lectura residual, linealidad, reproducibilidad, caídas, cambio de temperatura y humedad. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el sistema de dosimetría TLD Harshaw 6600 Plus cumple con los criterios de exigencia de la norma IEC 61066.

El presente trabajo se desarrolló en el distrito de Iquitos dentro de la zona Urbana y Periurbana de la Ciudad; cuyo objetivo consistió en realizar un estudio con el fin de identificar el tipo de residuos sólidos generados por el sector comercial (empresas minoristas y supermercados), en el Distrito de Iquitos. De los resultados selestudio tenemos que la caracterización de residuos sólidos generados por el sector comercial en la Provincia de Maynas, nos muestra como se refleja la producción de residuos que generan los establecimientos evaluados en dicha zona. The main problems of environmental pollution are mainly in the air and water. In the air, industrial and vehicle emissions have increased the concentration of gases and particulate pollutants in the atmosphere; On the other hand, the degradation of water is caused by the discharge of pollutants between them, the oils that usually come from industrial effluents and from domestic drains, as is the case of used vegetable oils. In the UNT these two environmental problems are caused by the discharge to the drain of 13.8 kg weekly of used vegetable oil.
