This paper aims to demonstrate the influence of an intervention program for the development of critical thinking on the acquisition of strategic competence of translation students in a university in Lima. For this purpose, a quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test design with control and experimental groups was carried out. The object of study was an intervention program for the development of critical thinking applied to the experimental group. The findings showed that the activities designed for the development of critical thinking significantly influenced strategic competence, which was measured through the student’s ability to analyze problems, evaluate translations and assess their own translations.

This teaching experience was designed for and implemented in a university module on legal translator training in the German (as second foreign language or C language) - Spanish (first language or A language) language pair. It describes the applications of a simulated yet realistic project, whereby students were asked to translate a German court summons into Spanish. Following the main theories on textual genre (Borja, 2013; Orts, 2017), as applied to the pre-translation analysis of the communicative situation in legal translation (Prieto, 2013), trainee translators are able to develop their legal translation competence and to establish a decision-making framework (Way, 2014) that allows them to justify their solutions to the translation problems identified. The study addressed the difficulties faced by fourth-cycle primary school students in public educational institutions in the district of Ccatca, Cusco region, in solving mathematical problems. These difficulties were attributed to the limited use of effective strategies and heuristic techniques by teachers. The main objective is to analyze the impact of applying these strategies on student performance and to propose a pedagogical model based on empirical evidence. A heuristic strategy was applied in an applied study with a pre-experimental design, involving 131 students. To measure progress, a pedagogical test (pretest and posttest) and an evaluation rubric were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and Excel. Este estudio tiene como objetivo demostrar la influencia de un programa de intervención para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en la adquisición de la competencia estratégica de los estudiantes de traducción de una universidad de Lima. Para ello, se realizó una investigación con diseño cuasiexperimental de preprueba y posprueba; con grupo experimental y de control. El objeto de estudio lo constituyó un programa de intervención para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico aplicado al grupo experimental. Los resultados demostraron que las actividades diseñadas para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico influyeron significativamente en la competencia estratégica, que se midió a través de la capacidad de analizar problemas, evaluar traducciones y autoevaluar las traducciones propias.

Background: Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a public health problem and the programs to reduce their transmission are mostly addressed from the risk approach and not from a comprehensive intervention. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of a biographical-professional intervention program with cognitive behavioral techniques to reduce sexual risk behaviors in men who have sex with men (MSM). Currently, the Federación Peruana de Fútbol has problems with certain clubs in the framework of transmission rights contracts containing this type of clauses.This paper will address the following points.First, we will explain what are the preference rights and how they are configured. Next, we will analyse the concept of ‘tacit representations’ in relation to pre-emptive covenants. Finally, we will frame the two previous points in the case of the Federation in order to understand the problems that revolve around the contracts that regulate transmission rights.

El objetivo de las estadísticas globales indican que la mitad de las féminas con vida sexual activa han contraído el VPH en algún momento, y el 40% experimenta problemas de la infección. La investigación, de carácter analítico, inferencial, prospectivo y longitudinal con diseño pre-experimental, evaluó la influencia del taller "Harkay" en el conocimiento sobre la infección por del VPH en 40 beneficiarias del programa vaso de leche "Las Karinas" en Chilca, 2024. Los resultados revelaron un incremento significativo en el conocimiento: del 37,5% al 95% en la definición de cáncer, del 37,5% al 95% en el contagio sexual y del 37,5% al 100% en prevención mediante abstinencia sexual. la prueba t-Student, confirmó diferencias estadísticamente, concluyendo que el taller "Harkay" tiene influencia determinante en la mejora del conocimiento sobre la infección del VPH.
