This teaching experience was designed for and implemented in a university module on legal translator training in the German (as second foreign language or C language) - Spanish (first language or A language) language pair. It describes the applications of a simulated yet realistic project, whereby students were asked to translate a German court summons into Spanish. Following the main theories on textual genre (Borja, 2013; Orts, 2017), as applied to the pre-translation analysis of the communicative situation in legal translation (Prieto, 2013), trainee translators are able to develop their legal translation competence and to establish a decision-making framework (Way, 2014) that allows them to justify their solutions to the translation problems identified. This paper aims to demonstrate the influence of an intervention program for the development of critical thinking on the acquisition of strategic competence of translation students in a university in Lima. For this purpose, a quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test design with control and experimental groups was carried out. The object of study was an intervention program for the development of critical thinking applied to the experimental group. The findings showed that the activities designed for the development of critical thinking significantly influenced strategic competence, which was measured through the student’s ability to analyze problems, evaluate translations and assess their own translations.

The study addressed the difficulties faced by fourth-cycle primary school students in public educational institutions in the district of Ccatca, Cusco region, in solving mathematical problems. These difficulties were attributed to the limited use of effective strategies and heuristic techniques by teachers. The main objective is to analyze the impact of applying these strategies on student performance and to propose a pedagogical model based on empirical evidence. A heuristic strategy was applied in an applied study with a pre-experimental design, involving 131 students. To measure progress, a pedagogical test (pretest and posttest) and an evaluation rubric were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and Excel. Este trabajo analiza los usos del español (lengua materna) por parte de maestros en formación (N=55) durante una actividad que consiste en la explicación y resolución de problemas matemáticos de Educación Primaria (6-12 años) en inglés (lengua extranjera). Este estudio tiene como objetivo demostrar la influencia de un programa de intervención para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en la adquisición de la competencia estratégica de los estudiantes de traducción de una universidad de Lima. Para ello, se realizó una investigación con diseño cuasiexperimental de preprueba y posprueba; con grupo experimental y de control. El objeto de estudio lo constituyó un programa de intervención para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico aplicado al grupo experimental. Los resultados demostraron que las actividades diseñadas para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico influyeron significativamente en la competencia estratégica, que se midió a través de la capacidad de analizar problemas, evaluar traducciones y autoevaluar las traducciones propias.

La investigación realizada por los miembros del equipo: Turismo hacia el Bicentenario del sitio arqueológico Cantamarca (perteneciente a la provincia de Canta) desarrolló un diagnóstico situacional a fin de plantear los procesos y estrategias para desarrollar la puesta en valor del sitio arqueológico. Cantamarca proviene de dos palabras: la primera, “Canta”, era el nombre del pueblo que habitó en este sitio, y “marca”, que quiere decir “pueblo” o “lugar”. A su vez la primera palabra “Canta” es atribuida a los grandes cazadores de vicuña, por lo que el nombre final del complejo deviene en la traducción de “Pueblo de grandes cazadores de vicuña”. El presente trabajo de tesis consiste en el diseño e implementación de un robot móvil de tres grados de libertad, capaz de controlar su posición y trayectoria en un plano cartesiano, además de posicionarse en lugares definidos por el usuario. La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar el impacto de la aplicación de una estrategia SMED en la productividad de Granite & Marble Solutions Perú EIRL 2019. Fue de tipo aplicada de diseño pre experimental. La población – muestra estuvo compuesta por los proyectos de la empresa en los periodos Enero – abril 2019 (pre test) y junio-setiembre 2019 (postest). Como instrumento se utilizó la ficha de revisión documental de productividad en el periodo de estudio, ficha de observación proceso de fabricación proyectos de melamina.
