Disruptive technologies and their impact on journalism and communication force us to assume challenges in learning new techniques for data and information processing. Interdisciplinary knowledge is evident in the teaching of new professional profiles. Data journalism is an example of this, so the immersion into a data culture must be preceded by awareness in the learning of news applications, algorithms or the treatment of Big Data, elements that configure new paradigms among journalists of the media on the Internet. With the revision of texts, direct observation of selected applications and case study, some conclusions are established that contain a growing demand in the knowledge of new techniques. The results show the use of technological resources and the proposal of changes in the curricula of the communication faculties.

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar la correlación del acompañamiento pedagógico y el desempeño docente en las Instituciones Educativas del nivel Primaria de la Unidad de Gestión Educativa Local de la provincia de Mariscal Cáceres, durante el año 2019. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada, con nivel descriptivo y diseño correlacional con una muestra poblacional de 77 docentes. El procedimiento consistió en la aplicación de los instrumentos a la muestra seleccionada, posteriormente se realizó el análisis estadístico y la prueba de hipótesis mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between students’ cognitive and self-regulatory strategies, academic engagement, and academic achievement in higher education, analyzing the mediating role of reading comprehension. Different tasks to assess the constructs were administered to 209 students (Mage = 21.71; SD = 4.36). The students' GPA was used as a measure of academic achievement. Significant associations were found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies, academic engagement, reading comprehension, and students' GPA. In addition, a positive association was found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies and academic engagement.
