This study presents the design exploration and kinematic validation of a transtibial prosthesis based on a 2SPU-RU parallel mechanism. The prototype is currently at Technology Readiness Level 3 (TRL 3), indicating an early-stage concept that has been evaluated under controlled conditions. The mechanism replicates dorsiflexion–plantarflexion, inversion–eversion, and abduction–adduction, corresponding to ankle motion in the sagittal, frontal, and transverse anatomic planes. The results of using large Lippes Loop in 436 patients from a Family Planning Center of Lima are presented. 5.384 months of use were tabulated. 10 unintended pregnancies (failure rate 2.21) two of them were seen unnoticed IUD expulsion The main adverse effects were vaginal discharge, pelvic pain and vaginal bleeding; the incidence of expulsions was lower than that reported in the publications. It has removed the D.I.U. by pelvic infection in 1.4% of patients. Has not been observed uterine perforation, IUD translocation or malignancy of exfoliative cytology. With an average of 12.4 months using woman there, a dropout rate of 38.8%. These results are discussed in comparison with international experiences. Objective: This study analyzes practical, didactic, and evaluative experiences in the context of university professional practice, drawing on the narratives of 47 students (from initial, intermediate, and final internships) and 9 tutor-teachers from two campuses of a state university in southern Chile. Method: Data were collected through discussion groups guided by a thematically validated script and analyzed using structural analysis, applying a parallel structure in the form of binary discourse. Results: The findings show that tutor-teacher supervision promotes dialogic learning and that the emotional dimension is a central component of student–teacher interactions. Recurrent flooding in the mining works, deficiencies in the operation of pumps, unforeseen stoppages, and lack of water availability in the processes, affect the operations in the subway mine. The traditional solution adopted is to wait for maintenance times for its post evacuation, generating stoppages, consumption of water from the wells and inefficiency in the daily water demand. The problem arises from the low availability of machines in the production process due to working conditions (39.5%), poor maintenance management (40.3%) and poor-quality control (20.2%) that generate low profitability for business. As a solution, Lean Manufacturing tools are implemented to improve the process and increase profitability. The aim of this study was to carry out the systematic classification in related groups and based on morphological similarities of 19 breeds of hens of the Mediterranean group. These breeds were 15 Spanish (Alicantina, Andaluza Azul, Cara Blanca, Castellana Negra, Empordanesa, Flor d’Ametller, Mallorquina, Menorquina, Murciana, Pairal, Penedesenca, Prat, Sobrarbe, Utrerana and Valenciana de Chulilla) and four Italians (Italiana, Livorno, Mericanel della Brianza and Paduana). The analysis included the evaluation of 17 qualitative morphological characteristics and was based on the principle of parsimony using Fitch method. Peru is the main producer of gold, zinc, lead, and tin in Latin America and the second largest producer of copper, silver, and zinc worldwide. Despite its economic importance, mining has also left a plethora of Mining Environmental Liabilities (MEL) whose inadequate waste management represents a risk for both the environment and human health and is a common trigger of social problems. RESUMEN La presente tesis determinó experimentalmente, mediante ensayos de laboratorio la eficiencia de un sistema de suministro de agua por impulsión utilizando una bomba de ariete hidráulico con dos válvulas trabajando en serie, para un primer escenario, y con dos válvulas trabajando en paralelo para un segundo escenario, obteniendo resultados que nos permitieron realizar una evaluación comparativa entre estos dos sistemas hidráulicos. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad determinar el comportamiento sismorresistente de una estructura de quince niveles, en la ciudad de Trujillo, comparando el desempeño de dos sistemas estructurales: el sistema Diagrid y el sistema Dual. El estudio se desarrolló mediante el modelamiento y análisis estructural en el software ETABS, considerando los parámetros normativos establecidos en la Norma Técnica Peruana E.030 – Diseño Sismorresistente y otras disposiciones técnicas relacionadas. El sistema Diagrid fue evaluado en cuatro configuraciones (2, 4, 8 y 16 niveles por módulo, con ángulos de 26.57°, 45°, 63.43° y 75.96°, respectivamente).
