The article analyzes the complex relationship between cultural selection of curriculum and the diverse nature of the societies in which it is inserted. From a qualitative approach, we analyze the teachers’ discourses of the Metropolitan Region about their representations on the political issues and the Politics and on the importance of curriculum and its possibilities for the attention to the diversity from the formation in citizenship. Results show the lack of problematization of diversity in this area. New contemporary phenomena such as valuing diversity require greater attention in the current processes of curriculum design for democratic coexistence.

The development of integrative projects in professional training aims to integrate formative research with social responsibility actions, to contribute to the improvement of the quality of professional training, in which research as a process of exploration and discovery of new knowledge, contributes to the technological development that generates technologies, processes or products, resulting in technological innovation, which allows the transfer of technology for its use for the benefit of society. This report uses an action research methodology aimed at verifying in practice the solution of the problem of learning to investigate from intervening in the solution of the problems of the context. The result reflects that students enhance their investigative abilities by improving their observation, detection, analysis and use of information to translate it into scientific communications a...

How to approach higher education for training in applied research in a "change of epoch" where knowledge has become a substantial asset to the generation of value in goods and services in organizations? What strategy should be implemented when its efficiency tends to be measured through mechanisms external to the research areas of the university? Two questions that allow, on the one hand, going the traditional way in which the university reiterates trivial mechanisms for engineering research training, and, on the other, the holistic -systemic-cybernetic- approach that promotes this same training in the context of complexity. This paper reviews the experience in the field of engineering, emphasizing the educational strategy aimed at achieving an insight of knowledge, where the university is facing increasing difficulty in setting the direction of the areas of applied research in engineeri...

Formative research in recent decades is positioned in the professional training curricula of the various areas of knowledge. Teacher training has not been the exception. Formative research has been included as a transversal axis of the curriculum, with the purpose of developing investigative skills and promoting the development of higher-order thought processes. For this, it has been necessary to manage changes in didactics, in evaluation and above all to have a teacher trainer who has the necessary qualities to accompany the student to build knowledge autonomously and in the future be capable of transforming their reality. Therefore, formative research in teacher training should focus on: a) preparing future professionals to make innovative use of existing scientific and technological knowledge and empower them to take on the challenge of transforming the educational reality from resear...

Inclusive practices include diversity as a resource that favors teaching-learning processes in the classroom, although they focus on the most vulnerable people by offering them higher-quality education. This descriptive study sought to identify the inclusive practices of teachers who train teachers in an Escuela Normal (teachers’ college) in Mexico. Eight teachers and 247 students participated in the study; the Guidelines for the Evaluation of Inclusive Practices in the Classroom (observation formats and students), the Learning Strategies Questionnaire, and semi-structured interviews were used. The results suggest that, although the general perception is that participating teachers have high inclusive practices, they need greater support in the physical conditions of the classroom, metho...

Introduction: The article aims to unveil the way in which the CRUCH (Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities) universities are training their future teachers in the field of educational inclusion, for which the training itineraries and graduation profiles of the different pedagogies taught by these study houses present in its institutional web pages. From the methodological point of view, the research ascribes to a qualitative approach with a multiple-case design, taking into account the multiplicity of analysis units made up of the different study houses. For the production of information, the analysis of documents from the Internet was used, which in turn were analyzed through content analysis. Among the main findings, it stands out that, although most of the universities under study incorporated subjects related to inclusion, they are mainly focused on the attention of SEN (Special...

Large-scale changes in the social and economic spheres of Russian society revealed the demands for managers with non-standard thinking and a high cultural level. Specific and ambiguous processes in politic, economic and social spheres in different parts of the world have general trends reflecting the evolution of global civilization. In this context, educational systems received new functions aimed at moral growth and improvement of competencies. The highest demand in the field of education is for experienced teachers and administrators who are able to improve the system of education and upbringing, develop scenarios for managing the teaching and learning process, offer the personality-oriented trajectories for students, make an independent choice and fulfill corrective and diagnostic functions. The transformed socio-economic context led to positive changes in the field of professional e...

During the last decades the need to question the way in which knowledge is constructed as well as its relation with power issues has come forward. An important innovation in some teacher training colleges and conventional universities is the redefinition of the teaching staff. They have included indigenous elders as an attempt to open higher education to the inclusion of new actors and new voices. However, in this article I argue that the participation of indigenous elders in teacher training processes, does not necessarily guarantee the development of practises that will highlight the existence of ways of thinking alternative to hegemonic knowledge nor the multiple ways in which knowledge is produced. For this to happen consciousness must be gained regarding the complex relations between knowledge and power, and the way in which it is expressed in higher education in general and in spec...

Currently, teacher training demands more flexible, active and participatory teaching proposals, adapted to the needs and characteristics of 21st century students, aimed at developing a set of skills and abilities that respond to a profile that allows them to face the demands social and labor. In this sense, one of the strategies that responds to this is collaborative work that allows them to assume responsibility for their learning, reflect on their cognitive processes and develop knowledge of different complexity. In this context, the objective of this research was to conceptually review what is referred to as collaborative work, as well as its contributions and challenges in teacher training. To this end, the literature on the subject proposed in recent years has been reviewed and analyzed through an exploratory-descriptive methodology. The findings allow us to highlight that tea...

The training on statistics is a phenomenon that has sparked great interest in recent years, which is evidenced by the increase in the number of research work at all educational levels. Technological development has brought with it important changes to society and has produced an immense amount of information that grows daily, which is why a different type of citizen and professional is needed; one who is able to understand and interpret the information that surrounds him or her. However, university students show unfavorable attitudes towards statistics, which can be seen in the unsatisfactory results in terms of learning and application. This is a bibliographic-documentary research that examines the elements that take part in the statistical teaching and learning processes at the university level. The exhibition is organized in four parts: the first presents the problems of statistical e...

The objective of this study is to present the andragogical model and its benefits in its application to safety training in Peruvian mining. Based on the andragogical characteristics, this thesis explains the andragogical principles, the importance of adult education, the difference between learning and teaching of children and adults, the characteristics of adults and learning methodological strategies for the effective training of miners. Safety training in this industry is a must for the acquisition of behaviors that can reduce the number of accidents and incidents at work. The investigation is of applied type and the explanatory level; the design responds to the non-experimental design, the population was made up of those responsible for the safety training programs, and the sample was represented by thirty-one training managers and eight andragogy experts. The techniques used in the ...
