This study analyzes through a qualitative study of 4 focus groups (n=13) the meanings and effects of volunteering reported by volunteers of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games and the Special Legacy Project. On a personal level, positive emotions are reported, linked to the awareness of having been part of historic events, as well as experiences of personal and interpersonal growth. From the social point of view, favorable effects are reported for the construction of a sense of community, civic awareness and national pride. In the institutional framework, organizational and management aspects are identified that favor favorable conditions for the development of volunteer experiences that generate positive effects both personally and socially.

The country’s industrialization process, together with the standardization of architecture, meant that the reproduction of standardized projects became common at the national level, based on the justification of development through the rationalization and standardization of construction. Focusing on our future is often associated with well-being, benefiting both the individual and society. However, the literature suggests that this relationship is not always consistent. Moreover, while this relationship has been studied in Lima from a subjective well-being perspective, it has not yet been explored using a psychological well-being framework. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es dar a conocer las diferentes estrategias para el desarrollo de las coordinaciones funcionales (motricidad) en niños y niñas del I ciclo de educación inicial. La educación en el I ciclo está centrada en la atención de niños y niñas de 0 a 2 años, este ciclo se caracteriza por el desarrollo de su expresividad motriz y el desarrollo senso-perceptual a través de su cuerpo y el movimiento. O sentimento de pertencimento implica a criação de vínculos de compromisso do indivíduo com seu grupo social ou organização à qual pertence. O objetivo do processo de pesquisa foi estabelecer o status das dimensões inerentes ao sentimento de pertencimento em alunos da carreira de Design Gráfico da Universidade Nacional de Chimborazo durante o período acadêmico de novembro de 2020 a abril de 2021; por meio de um estudo não experimental, descritivo e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa, cuja população de estudo foi composta por 66 alunos desse contexto de formação, que decidiram participar voluntariamente. O questionário de fatores determinantes foi aplicado para avaliar o senso de pertencimento dos estudantes universitários. Referring to the theoretical assumptions of Positive Technology, the study examined attitudes towards ICTs, the use of specific technologies and their relationship with eudaimonic psychological well-being (PWB) in emerging adults. 204 emerging adults (mean age 21.61, SD = 2.99; range 19-30; female 85 (49%), male 108; (56%) participated in the research. The use of specific information technologies is positively associated with the possession of attitudes favorable to them, and with different components of eudaimonic psychological well-being. The use of emails is positively linked to greater global eudaimonic well-being, a greater sense of personal growth, the presence of numerous life projects and satisfactory social relations. The use of predominantly iconic systems such as Instagram appears instead linked to a lower perceived autonomy.

Desde que este sector ha crecido tan amplio y diverso, en esta tesis hacemos solo una introducción a los conceptos generales que nos ayudarán a comprender la construcción de los árboles de Markovia. En términos generales, un proceso de ramificación podría describirse como un modelo estocástico para el desarrollo de una población, cuyos miembros generalmente se denominan individuos o partículas, y que se reproducen independientemente. El prototipo de un proceso de ramificación modelando un fenómeno en su forma más pura y el simple proceso de Galton-Watson o, Históricamente más correcto, el proceso Bienaym e-Galton-Watson.

In order to determine if the Conscientiousness trait of personality is a good predictor of the attitude towards the thesis, a predictive correlative study was carried out with a population of 83 university students of a Scientific Society. The conscientiousness sub-scale of the NEO PI-R personality inventory and the attitude scale towards the realization of a thesis were applied. The results show that the facets of competence, sense of duty and reflection are what significantly predict the attitude towards the university thesis; likewise, a direct and moderate association is observed between both variables. The predominance of the conscientiousness trait in the personality profile of university students involved in research groups predicts favorable attitudes towards the elaboration of degree work.

The crisis of political representation in Chile has led to a decrease in the participation of young people in elections, while increasing in social movements. These could affect how they perceive their ability to effect change through politics. This cross-sectional study analyzes, through self-report scales, gender differences in the relationship between internal political efficacy and the importance given to conventional and non-conventional political participation in a sample of Chilean adolescents (N = 949). Results show that the importance given to conventional politics is associated with internal political efficacy for men and women, while the importance given to unconventional politics is only associated for women. The importance of different forms of political participation in the formation of young political citizens is discussed, in the context of feminist mobilizations.
