Objective. To compare the main results achieved in the scientifc production of the entities belonging to the System of Science and Technological Innovation in Health (SCIT) in the municipality of Sagua La Grande, Cuba, in 2020 and 2021. Methods. A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was developed, whose population consisted of health professionals (N = 1551) working in the health institutions of the municipality. The data were collected through the document review technique, considering the information stored in the databases of the regulatory body. Adolescents are especially vulnerable to the inappropriate and uncontrolled use of computer technologies. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the use of video games and academic procrastination in students of the second level of education. The design was observational with correlational scope. The entire population was included: 91 students from the seventh to the tenth grade of an educational unit in Ecuador. Data were collected using the Adolescent Procrastination Scale and the Video Game Related Experiences Questionnaire. 56.04% were between 10 and 13 years old and 53.85% were male. 47.25% did not show problems with video game addiction experiences, but 43.96% had potential problems. What is the relationship between parenting styles and bullying in an Ecuadorian educational unit? 123 adolescents between the ages of 12 and 15 participated, who were in the 8th to 10th year of higher basic education. Quantitative, observational and correlational research. Use of two instruments: Perception of Parenting Styles Questionnaire and Bullying and School Violence Scale. The medium level predominated in most parenting styles (between 49.6 and 82.9%); as well as the category not found in the data related to bullying (between 47.2 and 74.8%). There was a significant correlation (p<0.05), directly proportional and with a weak to moderate intensity (Rho from 0.193 to 0.351) of the hostile parenting style in both parents with bullying.

Objective: To compare satisfaction with the use of the didactic tool for oral health promotion, Odonto App Kids, among schoolchildren from private and public educational units in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province, Ecuador. Methods: A feld study with a quantitative approach and experimental design, specifcally a pre-experimental type, was conducted. The population consisted of 111 children from basic education institutions in the city of Riobamba. Data were collected through a survey to measure levels of satisfaction and usability.
