Communication for development (CfD) is a discipline that seeks to promote social change through the strategic use of media and participatory dialogue. However, there is a paucity of studies that systematically and critically analyze the social processes underlying CfD interventions and their impact on the social significance of beneficiary communities. This article presents a narrative review of the literature on CfD, with the aim of identifying the main theoretical and methodological approaches that have addressed this topic, as well as the main limitations and challenges facing research in this field. La etapa preescolar es de elevada sensibilidad para el desarrollo de diferentes variables cognitivas, como la memoria de trabajo (MT) y velocidad de procesamiento (VP); asimismo, del lenguaje oral, destacando la morfología y la sintaxis. Por ello, el presente estudio se planteó los siguientes objetivos: (1) determinar si existe correlación entre las medidas de VP y MT, con respecto a las medidas de morfología y sintaxis del lenguaje oral, en estudiantes entre 5 años y 6 años 11 meses, de instituciones educativas del nivel inicial de los distritos de San Miguel, Pueblo Libre, Jesús María y Chorrillos; (2) formular el perfil de VP y MT, a partir de las medidas obtenidas en dicha población; y (3) formular el perfil morfológico y sintáctico del lenguaje oral, de los estudiantes de dicha población. El presente trabajo es la culminación de la interacción mecatrónica de las áreas de visión artificial y control de robots, para la automatización del proceso de la cosecha del ají paprika. El proceso se lleva a cabo mediante la utilización de un robot de 6 grados de libertad, el cual brinda mayor versatilidad para el desarrollo de movimientos complejos y operaciones en terrenos agrestes. Para gobernar dichos movimientos y la posición espacial del robot se hace uso de un sensor visual, entregando las imágenes necesarias para reconocer el ambiente y un sensor de distancia para obtener la profundidad y así conseguir la ubicación especifica del ají en su espacio de trabajo.

La presente investigación trata sobre la mejora del proceso de Mesa de Ayuda en el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, en lo que corresponde a: tiempo de atención, satisfacción, exactitud de la información, amabilidad, nº de casos ingresados, Nº DE casos resueltos, aplicando Seis Sigma. La metodología que se aplicó fue Seis Sigma, el cual comprende las fases definir, medir, analizar, mejorar y controlar. Con ello se alcanzó el principal objetivo de mejorar el proceso de mesa de ayuda en el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas. This article is the result of the application of Six Sigma methodology to improve compliance with scheduled dates in services performed by a calibration laboratory at the customer’s facilities. Through its five phases, Six Sigma methodology makes it possible to define the problem in a specific and quantitative way, measuring the performance of the affected process, identifying and analyzing the root causes, as well as establishing the actions to overcome problems and the controls to maintain the improvements. In this way, the laboratory increases the compliance with scheduled dates from 56.2% to 70.3%, as well as the level of customer satisfaction from 72.3% to 84.6%.

This article describes a technique that uses innovation tools for process improvement aimed at providing new and better ways to apply methodologies, such as PDCA, Six Sigma, kaizen and jidoka, among others, that are currently used in companies. To this end, tools that involve employees of companies whose processes are not reaching the strategic objectives will be used. This methodology consists of six steps: the first three are focused on the definition, measurement and analysis of the problem, while the next three address the design, tests, and implementation and control of the solution. This tool seeks breakthrough results for companies during the process of analysis and implementation of improvements that result from applying the methodology described herein. Using the case method, the proposed methodology is applied to a real case and its results are validated.

While it is true that vaccines generate immunity with a high degree of effectiveness and that in Peru, a certain time was spent initiating the COVID-19 disease, a vaccination process that was developed logistically. The objective was to obtain the mathematical model of the COVID-19 vaccination process in Peru, to estimate the number of people vaccinated, the critical time for which the estimated rate of vaccinated people has been the highest value, and to specify the date on which the highest number of people vaccinated has occurred. La degradación de los bosques tropicales afecta el sustento de las comunidades reduciendo la disponibilidad de recursos. Sin embargo, los factores causantes de degradación y el impacto que ésta ejerce sobre las comunidades permanecen poco entendidos. En la Amazonía Peruana, los frutos de la palmera Mauritia flexuosa son un importante recurso, no obstante, el aprovechamiento se realiza típicamente talando las palmeras en fructificación. M. flexuosa presenta individuos masculinos y femeninos, y la proporción de palmeras femeninas (PPF) en el bosque fue usado como indicador del nivel de degradación. The construct validity of six hypothesized dimensions was explored for an Accountancy majorgraduation examination, in order to understand the underlying process of responding. Using answers from 313 examinees to an intentional sample of 17 objective items administered on large scale, a confirmatory factorial analysis was carried out, with a Multi-Trait Multi-Method matrix (MTMM): Traits represented three cognitive operations required to solve the items and the methods represented three knowledge fields of the content. Each item was linked to a cog- nitive operation and to a knowledge field. El presente trabajo nace por la necesidad de reducir el scrap en una planta de producción de frascos para el sector cosmético, farmacéutico y alimenticio; específicamente el estudio es realizado en las cuatro líneas de polietileno con que cuenta la planta de producción. Previo al trabajo planteado se analizaron todos los indicadores utilizados en la planta de producción para evaluar y elegir el proyecto que resulte más rentable y siempre teniendo en cuenta la voz del cliente y los objetivos de la empresa. Methodology: Observational, quantitative, analytical study with a comparative cross-sectional design of prevalences before and after the intervention. The study population was 293 six-month-old children, treated at the Márquez Health Center during 2018 and 2019. This research seeks to analyze the performance of regional governments from an economic point of view. This is done by making several rankings of relative efficiency, taking into account the quality of the regions' expenditures. Six rankings were carried out according to six specific functions.Given the heterogeneity between regions, units were split into groupings using the Ward measure, an aglomeratic hierarchy method.
