Positive self-esteem promotes health and protects against dysfunctionality, emerging as an important factor of resilience. Its development in early stages favors a functional adaptation to the environment and prevents emotional discomfort in the long term. Since literature states that a family is a key factor for the creation of children’s self esteem, this research will review some family conditions that can affect the personal assessment of the children, highlighting the necessity of creating psychosocial approaches for the creation of healthy family environments, optimizing the parental competences and strengthening the affective bond between parents and children.

El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo conocer los distintos agentes blanqueadores over-the-counter y su efectividad. El tipo de investigación fue básica y diseño no experimental, para ello se realizó una revisión de literatura donde se prioriza ensayos clínicos y revisiones sistemáticas de artículos científicos en español e inglés de las siguientes bases indexadas: Proquest, Ebsco, Scopus y Scielo entre los meses de Mayo y Julio del año 2020, teniendo como requisito que dicha información sean publicaciones arbitradas no mayor a 5 años de antigüedad, a excepción 5 artículos por antecedentes históricos. Concluyendo que las tiras blanqueadoras y cubetas preformadas tienen mejor efecto blanqueador, ya que estos presentaban un mayor porcentaje de peróxido de hidrógeno en su composición.

Worldwide, Human T-lymphtropic virus-1 and 2 (HTLV-1 and 2) infects approximately more than 10 million people, mostly occurring in hyperendemic areas such as the region of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). A comprehensive bibliographic exploration of original articles published on the Web of Science Core Collection database over the last 10 years was done. A bibliometric analysis was performed using the bibliometrix package in RStudio and VOSviewer. A total of 519 articles published in 194 journals were identified along the 10 years studied. Virus mitigation behavior has been and still is a powerful means to fight the COVID-19 pandemic irrespective of the availability of pharmaceutical means (e.g., vaccines). We drew on health behavior theories to predict health-protective (coping-specific) responses and hope (coping non-specific response) from health-related cognitions (vulnerability, severity, self-assessed knowledge, efficacy). Objective: To characterize the geriatric patient profile and identify the mortality-associated factors in a population over 80 years hospitalized with COVID-19 infection in the geriatric ward of a university hospital in the city of Bogotá.Materials and methods: An analytical observational retrospective cohort study based on chart reviews was conducted. The study included patients over 80 years with confirmed COVID-19 infection from March 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las implicancias de la tendencia izquierdista en América Latina, con especial énfasis en el caso peruano. A través de una revisión sistemática de literatura académica publicada en los últimos veinte años, se examinan los factores que han impulsado el ascenso de gobiernos progresistas en países como México, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela y Colombia, así como las características políticas, ideológicas e institucionales de dichos procesos. La investigación busca realizar una revisión sistemática de estudios de intervenciones de mindfulness para reducir la fatiga por compasión en enfermeras. El tipo de investigación fue teórica. Para la revisión sistemática, se priorizaron estudios cuantitativos publicados hasta septiembre de 2025. La búsqueda se llevó a cabo en Web of Science y Scopus siguiendo el modelo PRISMA. Se seleccionaron nueve estudios, los cuales cumplieron los criterios de inclusión establecidos para la revisión.
