In this work, the well-possednes of a predator-prey model with reaction-diffusion will be studied where the Allee effect in prey reproduction will be included and predation dynamics will be considered a functional response dependent on the species (prey and predator) with the incorporation of the refuge in the dam. In this way, the existence, uniqueness and positivity of the system's solutions as the main result will be guaranteed.

In this research, a mathematical model to determine the concentration of concrete carbonation is investigated using several numerical schemes which provide the distribution of carbonation in a concrete region. This model considers an Arrhenius-type relation which implies a non-uniform diffusion coefficient for a reaction- diffusion problem in the model. To perform the computations of the model investigated, the finitedifferences and finite-volume methods are employed which are implemented in the mathematical software GNU-Octave and the finite-volume software OpenFOAM respectively.

This paper presents the calibration study of a two - dimensional mathematical model for the problem of urban air pollution. It is mainly assumed that air pollution is aected by wind convection, difusion and chemical reactions of pollutants. Consequently, a convection-diusion-reaction equation is obtained as a direct problem. In the inverse problem, the determination of the diusion is analyzed,assuming that one has an observation of the pollutants in a nite time. To solve it numerically the nite volume method is used, the least squares function is considered as cost function and the gradient is calculated with the sensitivity method.

The objective of this workshop is the creation of problems about algebra and the composition of functions, for which will be created using GeoGebra software. The aim is to motivate the ability to critically evaluate the quality of a mathematicalactivity around the solution of a problem and to have the ability to modify it in order to achieve enriching mathematical activities. To achieve this purpose, the strategy of problem creation by variation will be applied, which consists of presenting the participants with a problem, in the framework of a very concrete episode, in a teacher's class, this episode briefly describes some of the reactions of his students when solving the problem. After a sequence of activities, the participants will create and solve problems, and finally, they will socialize synchronously about their experience in the workshop.

Patient safety is a quality dimension in health care, because there is a certain degree of danger in each step of the process; focusing on the use of medicines, the most harmful problems are related to errors in the selection of medicines and their correlation with the diagnosis and in the unjustified use of them. The objective of this study was to analyze drug prescription situations in relation to patient safety. The purpose of the study was to compare the anxiety levels of fifth-year high school students from two private educational institutions. The study is of a quantitative approach, type of substantive study, comparative descriptive level and non-experimental cross-sectional design, the population consisted of 400 students from two private schools, the reference students are in the fifth year of secondary school. The instrument used was the Test Anxiety Problem Assessment Questionnaire (CAEX). Questionnaire specifically developed to collect the variety of motor, verbal, cognitive or physiological responses that usually accompany these problems, together with the most frequent type of examinations. Elderly patients have three main characteristics that differentiate them from other population groups: polypathology, polypharmacy and physiologic changes related with aging that alter drugs’ pharmocokinetic and pharmacodynamic. These three factors increase drug-drug interactions (DDI) in frequency and severity. Drug-drug interactions are part of drug related problems (DRP) in elderly patient that need to be studied in regards to its epidemiology and adequate strategies to prevent it. Prudent use of medications and vigilant drug monitoring are essential to avoid adverse drug reactions caused by drug-drug interactions.

Introducción: es importante reconocer cuales son los problemas en la prescripción médica de pacientes adultos mayores. Este estudio realiza una investigación sistemática de artículos científicos. Objetivo: realizar una revisión sistemática de artículos científicos sobre problemas en la prescripción médica de pacientes adultos mayores. Materiales y métodos: se realizó una investigación cualitativa no experimental, descriptiva, de 121 artículos publicados entre 2019-2024 en bases de datos académicos como Scopus, scielo, Science Direct y Dialnet plus. Materiales y métodos: se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica en 12 estudios de investigación. Se aplicaron criterios de inclusión y exclusión específicos, considerando artículos científicos de investigación primaria de países con fechas de publicación entre 2014 y 2024, en inglés y español. La revisión abarcó bases de datos como Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, PubMed y Scopus. Resultados: se observó que Estados Unidos registra el mayor número de investigaciones, seguido de Cuba y Reino Unido, mientras que el resto de los artículos provienen de distintos países europeos y asiáticos. However, there is a problem: traditional riddles are literary forms that correspond to a pre-digital era. How can we increase its acceptance among the digital natives? One way might be creating audiovisual riddles specially designed for YouTube. In this research we made five prototypes of audiovisual riddles with different creative characteristics and validated them among 8-12 years old students.
