In manufacturing processes, there are conditions that continually impact decision-making among when choosing among alternatives; the selection is usually influenced by critical aspects such as quality, productivity, costs and customer feedback, among others. This article analyzes different adhesives for the process of gluing parts for sports shoes in a company located in the city of Purisima del Rincon in Guanajuato, México. The analysis employs statistical engineering tools and an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology. The case studied deals with an issue with gluing parts. With the methodologies that will illustrate both the management and directors of the centers of responsibility (CR) will have indicators to be fit in explaining the causes, mainly from unfavorable changes. In this second part is proposed to revise and to consolidate binding concepts in the models and analysis techniques cost-volume-utilities (C-V-U) that are pertinent in a vulnerable and very sensitive economy to the changes of the competitive forces. Furthermore it concepts of leverage operating and elasticity price of the demand so that the engineer of processes has more extensive criteria for his analysis and proposals of solutions with greater professional rigorousness.

La problemática observada en el almacén de una empresa de autopartes son los altos tiempos en el proceso de preparación de pedidos debido a la falta de herramientas de mejora continua en el proceso mismo. El objetivo de esta investigación es proponer un modelo de gestión del proceso de picking para reducir los tiempos en la atención de pedidos mediante la herramienta 5´S. Para ello, se realizó un estudio empírico con alcance cuasi experimental y post positivista, bajo la modalidad de estudio de caso. Se evidenció la diferencia en el tiempo de preparación dependiendo del tipo de trabajador en el almacén, y mediante la aplicación de las 5´S y estandarización de trabajo se logró una reducción significativa en el tiempo de picking del 41,37% en el caso de los nuevos operadores, del 32,80% para un operador estándar y del 11,82% para los operadores experimentados.

To evaluate the impact of the international accreditation process at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos’s Faculty of Dentistry was the purpose of the investigation. Methodology: The study was descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective. The sample was made up by 307 (of 450) students randomly selected. The data collection was obtained by a questionnaire survey. Chi square test (SPSS 20) was applied. The results showed that the level of student’s satisfaction related to accreditation process was regular to good (37.1% and 51.3%). The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the possibility of resuming the counting of the limitation period (Article 1997 of the Peruvian Civil Code), interrupted with the filing of the lawsuit, when the negligence of the plaintiff materializes in the labor judicial process and, specifically, when the process ends due to the non-attendance of the parties to the hearings scheduled in the first instance of the labor judicial process. It is proposed to carry out an analysis of interpretation –using the method of ratio legis for rules involved to verify whether the negligence described is comparable to abandonment of the process and, therefore, constitutes a case of ineffectiveness of the interruption of the limitation period.

La investigación se centró en resolver los problemas de altos tiempos de inspección y almacenamiento en un almacén de repuestos que funciona como centro de distribución para los concesionarios de una empresa minorista de automóviles, identificando la distribución ineficiente y los traslados innecesarios como las principales causas. This article intends to demonstrate the feasibility of applying the TPM-Lean Manufacturing methodology in SME manufacturers of metal spare parts, as there is a growth in demand, visible in the sector, which cannot be exploited due to its Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) low values. The aim is to contribute to a better knowledge of the application technique to reduce waste in process industries so that, through an analysis of their production data, the problems that prevent companies from being efficient are identified and, through the selection, development and implementation of the techniques of the Lean Manufacturing Methodology, SME can be oriented to carry out improvement actions in their production systems at a low cost.
