En el año 2019 aportó S/. 6,345 millones al PBI manufacturero de Perú; sin embargo, durante los últimos años este sector ha perdido participación debido a la contracción en su producción. When installing an immediate implant, you can choose between installing a temporary clinical crown, healing abutments, or to close the implant for a two-step surgical treatment. The use of customized healing abutments seals the implants and leads to individualized healing, which favors the creation of subsequent crowns. The present study aims to report a clinical case involving an immediate implant and the installation of customized healing abutments, demonstrating the results and the importance of knowledge of this technique by the dentist.

Insulinoma is a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor that produces hyperinsulinism and causes a severe lowering of blood glucose levels with chronic symptoms such as fainting. It is more common in males and can occur at any age, either as solitary or multiple neoplasms, the latter known to be part of the multiple endocrine neoplasia, type 1 (MEN 1) group. Insulinomas are rare and require resective surgery, with symptoms resolution being the marker of recovery. This article describes a case of insulinoma in a 51-year-old woman with a clinically typical presentation and signs and symptoms of hyperinsulinism. In construction projects, there may be rework and delays associated with construction processes with a low level of industrialization, resulting from the lack of constructability of the designs. To promote industrialization and improve the project's constructability, we implemented the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) methodology, combined with a system of prefabricated reinforcement cages (PRC) elements in constructing an 870- meter span bridge located in Lima, Peru. The objective was to reduce structural rebars' assembly times, replace the traditional on-site processes of cutting, bending, and assembling steel with an industrial process based on systems of PRC steel elements. As a result, the assembly times of the structural item were reduced by 31%, thanks to the use of PRC elements. In addition, due to the VDC methodology, a 100% buildable design of the PRC elements was achieved.

The study proposed an inventory policy for its products with the highest demand based on the analysis of the application of three planning techniques, which were the Silver Meal method, the minimum unit cost method and the EOQ. In addition, forecasting techniques were applied with a bimonthly historical data from the sales record that helped identify the products with the highest demand according to the ABC classification. The methodology carried out in a grocery store in Peru found that the demand behavior differed in each product; so, the standard deviation was analyzed. Then, the application of the three planning techniques was compared where a similarity in the frequency of orders and quantity between the Silver Meal and MCU was observed; on the other hand, the EOQ functioned as a preliminary step to identify a reorder point.

The objective of the research was to determine the impact of Digital Marketing on customer relationship management (CRM) in an educational institution in central Peru. The study was carried out from the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental correlational transactional research design. El sector comercial presenta una tendencia al aumento de la insatisfacción del cliente debido a la ineficiente respuesta frente a las demandas de rapidez y entrega correcta. Esta situación se relaciona con una gestión ineficiente del almacén que involucra una inadecuada distribución física y deficiencia en el proceso de atención. El caso de estudio trata sobre una PYME importadora y comercializadora de calzado que presenta un bajo rendimiento respecto al cumplimiento de pedidos completos y a tiempo (OTIF). Por ello, se desarrolló un modelo utilizando la metodología Lean Warehousing, que incluye herramientas como 5S, Multicriterio ABC, Kardex, Standard Work, y BPM.
