Mexico is one of the leading citrus producers worldwide. This work presents an analysis for improving the citrus waxing process in a company dedicated to this activity, located in the town of Álamo, Temapache, in the northern part of the state of Veracruz, Mexico. This study used the ten approaches to operations analysis to find areas of opportunity where the company could improve; the implementation of lean manufacturing tools such as 5s, Kaizen, and autonomous maintenance was suggested to optimize the waxing process. As a result of this analysis, an improvement proposal was developed regarding simplifying operating procedures, improving the handling of materials, and optimal use of equipment, allowing the company to be more efficient and productive.

In the field of databases, the lack of traceability of transactions or operations in a database is vital to respond to incidents that may originate within them, such as the alteration of unauthorized information. This article proposes an auditing model to mitigate risk using Oracle's object and transaction auditing approach. Finally, a laboratory was implemented in which the proposed model was deployed, ensuring the information's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The present work deals with the proposed treatment scheme for the recovery of PVC and PET using mineral processing operations such as: size reduction. Separation by dense means, alkaline treatment and flotation. The results achieved at the laboratory level indicate that 95% of PVC and 97% of PET can be recovered from the selected sample of plastic containers collected in a residual sector of the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia.

This study evaluates the application of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean methodologies in the Peruvian agricultural sector, focusing on asparagus packing operations. To this end, it develops an innovative model with the objective of increasing the productivity of asparagus packing, one of the main problems of the Peruvian agricultural industry. Through the application of an autonomous and preventive maintenance strategy, it seeks to eliminate untimely stops in the asparagus processing line. The research in the laboratory was made operating variables (reactant concentration, pH and oxidation potential) of pyrite leaching gold from river Tablachaca (Ancash Peru) with thiourea (TU) followed by electro-deposition of gold. The experimental study was conducted in three stages: Oxidation of thiourea leaching of gold and gold electroplating. As an alternative to chemical agents, TU oxidation via electrolysis was conducted to obtain formamidine disulphide (FDS), which serves as an oxidizer in the dissolution of gold. The optimum degree of conversion of formamidine disulfide thiourea in 2.5 h was obtained by applying a FEM of 4.5 V with a pH of 1.5. The anodic and cathodic compartments of the electrochemical reactor were separated by an anion membrane with the purpose of eliminating undesired reactions at the cathode. Esta investigación se centra en la implementación de la reingeniería del proceso de medición de los Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) importados por un centro de distribución de una empresa especializada en la venta de productos para la mejora del hogar y materiales de construcción. Para identificar los factores que influyen en el proceso y optimizarlo, se realizó un estudio de tiempos y movimientos del proceso utilizando la herramienta conocida como diagrama de espagueti. Como resultado, se incrementó la productividad y disminuyeron los tiempos muertos, lo que permitió medir en menos tiempo el universo de SKU. El estudio también condujo a la configuración del sistema utilizando datos correctos, lo que facilitó la operación dentro del almacén.

In this study, an analysis of pre-trial proceedings is made, given the new scenario of programming virtual hearings and the subsequent procedural burden that will arise once the state of emergency is lifted. Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.

The objective of this study was to define a technology package, in order to provide an inventory of the technologies used during the processing of the Peruvian green coffee with specialty coffee qualities to export, supported by a technological management perspective. The methodology relied on a technology package construction, by identifying, describing and quantifying four of its components, based on a systematic literature review, and five professional’s endorsements; each of them knowledgeable of the technologies used in agricultural products processing. Here, semi-structured interviews (Massachusetts Institute of Technology protocol) were used. The process of Pre Pro- fessional Practice Management (PGPP) of the Universidad Peruana Union was optimized and automated, a subsidiary in Tarapoto (UPeU FT).
