A critical revue of the contents of the journal Anales de la Facultad de Medicina from 2015 to 2020 has been done. It has been quatified and qualified the publicactions of every section under the relevance of one century of its appareance and the National Bicenntenial. The instructions for the authors, its prosprect, norms and clasification of the contents have been taken in account as a basis for this research. There were not found contributions in sections photos gallery nor commensts of books. In the time being 6 volumes, 24 numbers and 2 especial numbers were edited. In a half of the first numbers editorials lack of titels. An amount of 144 original articles, 44 short originals, 26 reviews, 34 special artícles, 14 on history, 3 simposia, 49 clinical cases, 79 letters to editors, 12 guides were published. La epilepsia es una de las enfermedades neurológicas más antiguas y reconocidas del mundo. En las últimas dos décadas se han utilizado clínicamente varios fármacos antiepilépticos nuevos. Sin embargo, el pronóstico de la epilepsia permanece sin cambios, y aproximadamente un tercio de los pacientes continúan teniendo convulsiones resistentes a los medicamentos. The content of Evidence-Based Medicine is then described, emphasizing the best available external clinical evidence, the clinical expertise and the predicaments of patients. Applications of this movement in clinical medicine and public health are pointed out. Finally, its advantages and potential risks and limitations are discussed. A scientifically competent medicine alone is insufficient to help patients cope with loss of health, find meaning in suffering and endow the physician with the ability to establish a sufficiently compassionate and empathetic physician-patient relation. Interest in these aspects is typical of clinical care models focused on the patient (and not on diseases), which also implies recognizing that patients bring their own stories with information about their experience of the disease. Introducción: El Examen médico nacional (ENAM, por sus siglas en inglés) es una prueba obligatoria que los estudiantes deben realizar después de su internado médico. Con los cambios en la ley, ahora sirve como un requisito para el Servicio de Salud Rural y Urbano-Marginal (SERUMS). Objetivo: Determinar las percepciones de utilidad y preparación para ENAM en diez facultades médicas peruanas. Metodología: un estudio analítico de corte transversal se basó en 11 preguntas de un cuestionario autoadministrado, con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,65. Las variables se cruzaron según el tipo de universidad, año de estudios y, si se repitieron los cursos, con los modelos lineales generalizados. It has been a long time since the first female doctor was recognized as such, and somewhat less since universities were officially admitted to women as medical students. Although at present the academic and working conditions have improved, inequalities are still visible in this field, the subject of this writing.The woman is perceived as a "risk" for job stability and described as unable to bear the stress of working as a doctor.In the present work, a journey is made from ancient times to the present day, we see some features of female doctors in Peru and the phenomenon of "feminization" in Medicine, to finish by providing a brushstroke about the current conditions and trends of the work of the woman as a doctor.

Since plants may contain hundreds or even thousands metabolites, the vegetable kingdom can be a posible source of new compounds for introduction into therapeutical screenning programmes. A realistic approach to this fascinating challenge is the development of the ethnopharmacology. In contrast to medicinal chemistry, ethnopharmacology can start from an observed activity of a drug used in man or animals. Subsequent bioassay-direct fractionation can lead to the discovery of previosly unknown chemical structures for further structure-activity studies. With automated sample injection and fraction collection, HPLC systems can readily and rapidly be used to isolale tens of milligrams of pure compound, whose structure is usually resolved by use of NMR spectroscopy. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir las características del comportamiento del consumidor de productos derivados del cannabis para uso medicinal de los pacientes de la “Asociación Marihuana Medicinal Trujillo-Perú” a través de la aplicación de un cuestionario basado en el modelo del proceso de decisión del consumidor de Blackwell, Miniard y Engel (2002). Esta investigación surge en respuesta a la legalización de la comercialización del cannabis medicinal en el Perú y a la necesidad de investigar las características y el comportamiento de los actuales consumidores de estos productos.
