The purpose of the author in this article is to outline the main licenses regarding mineral exploration and publicize the usual paperwork and contingencies obtaining these permits.It also presents alternatives to traditional procedures, which are more useful in practice to expedite to start of mining exploration activities in Peru.

Quality program is important for achieving the objectives of mining projects. They consist of the quality management plan, quality management and assurance (QA) and quality control (QC). They are a tool implemented by the mining companies in order to have valid information that allows the elaboration of resource mineral estimation and reserve mineral estimation studies. This article presents the findings of an action research project carried out in 2012 with 12 first-year university students taking ‘Education Studies’ in a university in England. The aim of the project was to explore the best ways to support students’ academic writing skills. The literature review highlights the challenges students encounter when trying to learn the discourse of adiscipline; and in the light of this examination, a reflection on the strengths and weaknesses of my own practice provides the context for carrying out an action research project. In some poems of The Black Heralds (1919), the first set published by César Vallejo, the lyric subject has a predisposition to use the sense of sight as the means to identify, in different levels, those elements that surround him. Consequently, it is possible to recognize two different visions: in one vision, the focused element stimulates an inner reaction in the observer; in the other vision, the protagonist discovers —through the observed element— an intimate and personal truth for him. Hence, the elements behave as resources in order that the lyrical subject knows more about himself as he interprets and understands his surroundings. It must be understood that the lyrical subject is a projection of the poet. To demonstrate this interpretation, in this study we will proceed to analyze the poems «Deshojación sagrada», «La araña», «La de a mil» and «Las piedras».

El proyecto parte de las dificultades en las prácticas pictórica y escultórica para aplicar color a piezas cerámicas que, por sus dimensiones o características, no pueden ser quemadas en hornos cerámicos convencionales. Así, propone una investigación y experimentación con materiales como óxidos, fundentes y materiales refractarios a la vez que se sirve del combustible de oxiacetileno como medio de activación, de modo que el proceso se da fuera del horno.

The exploration and colonization of other planets is a reality that will require designing habitable structures to guarantee the survival and prosperity of the colonists in space. This implies a close collaboration between engineers, scientists and designers. Similarly, it assumes that a new generation of designers has the necessary skills to face these challenges. Therefore, this work aims to investigate the skills, abilities and characteristics required by designers to participate in Mars exploration and colonization projects. For this, three case studies will be analyzed, using the key concepts identified by Raúl Pólit Casillas in his article “Spatial architecture. A new field of practical innovation” (2010). An analysis that represents an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of humanity and explore new frontiers in design.

A lo largo del presente proyecto se presentará, en el formato de un plan de negocios, una propuesta de intervención a La Asociación Cultural Musuq, un espacio de actividades musicales que surgió en el año 2017 por la iniciativa de un grupo de compositores alumnos de la escuela de música de la UPC, con la finalidad de dar a conocer su trabajo en el campo de la música contemporánea y el de sus pares. El proyecto profesional tiene como propósito que las empresas cuyo rubro es la minería y se encargan de la perforación en la etapa de exploración cuenten con una herramienta para la correcta planificación del mantenimiento de sus maquinarias, ya que los reprocesos en la operación de perforación son sumamente costosos y ocurren cuando el equipo tiene una falla irreparable en el sitio. This article explores the intersection of aided self-help housing and modernist architectural culture through the early career of the English architect John F. C. Turner, who emerged as a prominent theorist of aided self-help housing beginning in the 1960s. The focus is on Turner’s development of an architectural practice following his arrival in Peru in 1957, at the invitation of architect and planner Eduardo Neira. Turner spent the next couple of years in Arequipa, working for a government agency charged with regularizing the city’s urbanizaciones populares. This culminated in a trial aided self-help housing project initiated after an earthquake in 1958 caused widespread damage to Arequipa’s housing stock. The article explores how these seminal on-the-ground experiences informed Turner’s later theoretical writings.

This paper will evaluate the feasibility of creating a plant for the production of BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) for dogs and cats. Chapter I presents the commercial, technological and economic-financial justifications. Likewise, the methodology to be used in the work will be proposed. Chapter II explores the needs of the clients through a market study, as well as the demand for the project by means of a survey of the target public; in addition, the marketing mix is proposed. Chapter III defines the macro and micro-location of the plant; in this section the factors to be considered are analyzed using the ranking of factors method. Las operaciones mineras en el Perú tienen por característica desarrollar cuatro etapas a lo largo de su ciclo de vida, las cuales son: exploración, construcción, explotación y cierre de mina. El objeto de estudio de este trabajo se ubica en la etapa de transición de construcción a explotación, donde ya se tienen varias facilidades habilitadas, como las vías de acarreo, instalaciones edificadas (planta, pozos, grifos, talleres, campamentos, entre otros) e instalación de tuberías de alcantarillado dentro del proyecto. En todo este proceso de construcción, se han utilizado una gran cantidad de equipos que, en su mayoría, son excavadoras y camiones mineros de mediana capacidad. El área de mantenimiento tiene la responsabilidad de que estos equipos trabajen de manera continua, asegurando el cumplimiento de la producción y los objetivos establecidos de acuerdo al plan de minado.
