El presente trabajo desarrolla el Método de Elementos Finitos (MEE) mediante un programa en código MATLAB para la solución de problemas de guía de ondas. La ecuación diferencial de Helmholtz se resuelve mediante un sistema de eigenvalores de una forma simple con MATLAB. Los resultados numéricos son comparados con la solución analítica de guía de ondas rectangulares, obteniéndose resultados satisfactorios.

The paper analyzes the main problems that the Central Bank has to deal during the transition period of high to low inflation. In the first part, the core of our discussion is related with the policy of monetary accommodation when the target is a high level of real exchange rate. Then, we present two ways in orden to overcome the wealth transfer problem produced by the hangovers of past states of expectations. Finally, we point out the puzzles generated by the usual behavior of the nominal interest rate during the stabilization period.

Maternal mortality is a major public health problem in Peru and other developing countries. This problem does not only mean the deaths of hundreds of thousands of women each year, but that has as one of its effects the mortality rate among children of these women and expresses the deep inequalities between countries and within them, between regions, social classes and géneros1. There is growing consensus on the basic strategies to successfully address this situation. However, it is crucial to identify the unique characteristics of maternal mortality in each country and, within them, in each region. From a program management perspective, the relationship between supply and demand for services is a key to understanding the patterns of maternal mortality and conclude prioritization decisions and planning element.

This research shows the results of the research developed, whose objective was to design a knowledge management model for the Huánuco SFPQW. The research was divided into two phases: the first qualitative, which allowed developing the proposed conceptual model and the second quantitative, which empirically confirmed the conceptual model. It was analyzed through case studies in 3 areas of the SFPQW with semi-structured interviews addressed to the bosses of mentioned areas, also through direct observation and documentation of the SFPQW. This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs.
