This essay aims to explore effective ways to utilize research in improving the quality of university education and address challenges that impede its potential. The authors conducted a multivocal literature review and approached six subtopics, including the role of interdisciplinary research and collaboration, the impact of research on teaching practices and student outcomes, the potential of emerging technologies, the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a culture of research and innovation, and the role of funding and resources. The presence of beauty in society has now a leading role thanks to the relevance that social media has given it. There is a tendency to elaborate reality TV shows based on beauty. This article analyses the comments of the judges of America’s Next Top Model Season 19th to discover if the message in this show can be transmitted as a positive message in a time where reality shows are cataloged as low quality television. Este artículo gira en torno a la revisión de 4 textos para el cuidado de la salud mental, producidos en el marco de la pandemia por el virus SARS-CoV-2 por parte de distintos organismos internacionales y el gobierno mexicano, describiendo a lo largo del mismo sus características y contenidos, así como los criterios por los cuales fueron seleccionados para un breve análisis. Asimismo, se reflexiona sobre la potencialidad educativa de dichos textos y el impacto que tendrían en contextos educativos como el latinoamericano.

Teacher training for the effective implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education has become a key aspect of educational research. In this regard, the lack of appropriate models to support teachers in their professional development is evident. An investigation has been conducted on the most effective ways in which elementary school teachers acquire their digital competencies based on the contributions of 23 experts. Using Delphi methodology with two iterations, expert knowledge about the problem was probed to learn how it is developed and refined. Adopting the theoretical lens of Learning Ecologies, the results provide a contrast on which components support effective professional learning with respect to ICT integration, laying the groundwork for new methods and approaches to professional development.

The paper discusses the development of cybercampaigns in America Latina inside the political and democratic transformations during the recent decades, as well as the dawn of socialization using telecommunications and new informational technologies which has been observed in the region. We analyze the case of six countries of the region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela) that are using telecommunications and the new informational technologies as part of central strategies in political campaigns. It also discussed the potentials and limits of such campaigns. We conclude that cybercampaigns in Latin America are consolidated: their development advances in giant steps. However, this type of campaigns has its limitations for achieve its objectives, due to the low-educated electorate, disappointed in political class.

The university is an important pillar in sustainable development; however, COVID-19 imposed new dynamics that called for rethinking university praxis to achieve this mission, and although the systematization of good practices is a powerful mechanism for understanding educational success, this perspective of positive change has been little developed. An approach on Education, Science Education and Pedagogy was performed by analysis of definitions, objectives, rationale, their scientific attribute and their interrelationships. It was concluded that education is not a science, but a process leading to each person: to find, to promote and growing among others, their creative potential, and this is achieved if the human being: learning to know, learning to do, learn to live and learn to be. There is no science itself of Education but it is based on theories of other sciences. What does exist is sciences underlying, explain and been apply in Education. Pedagogy is part of the construct of Education, is immersed linking theory with another to translate the goals of Education in humans. Also, it was shown that pedagogy is not a science, and the definition that best fits is redefining the art of teaching.
