The purpose of this article is to reflect on a complex conception of the concept of territory within the framework of the link with the environment of Chilean state universities. To achieve this purpose, the institutional policies of the area of the 18 universities of the State of Chile, the Higher Education Law and the Law of State Universities were reviewed, as well as the reference framework of linkage with the environment of the Consortium of Universities of the State of Chile. The results indicate that in the documents analyzed there is a poor definition of the concept of territory, and its mention is mainly geographical, which deprives a critical sense of a highly relevant university function for the development of society.

This paper focus on implementation of communication strategies developed in the Rehabilitation of Potable Water and Sewerage Network Lote 3 project, executed between 2013 and 2014 in the district of Comas, north of Lima-Peru, and belonging to the Servicio de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Lima (SEDAPAL), company responsible for water and sewage in Lima. As a result, it could be observed that the implementation of a diagnosis of perceptions, the communication plan and the communication and education products allowed to facilitate the design of messages according to the context of the project, taking into account the speeches of the users against and in favor of the project, as well as the objectives sought by the executing company.

This research was aimed at determining to what extent factors prior to university admission, motivational factors, and institutional experiences explain the academic persistence of students in the University Leveling Term (CIU) at the Simon Bolivar University - Coastal Campus. An explanatory-type quantitative study was proposed, which involved a non-experimental cross-sectional retrospective causal relationship design. The sample consisted of 101 students (50.5% female) with an average age of 17.90 years (SD = 2.37). The study found a significant relationship between some variables explaining academic persistence, which were: a) having a lower orientation toward academic goals; b) a higher score on the maladaptive pattern; c) a higher score in the perception of the Mathematics professor’s evaluation; and d) a higher score in the final performance. Candida endocarditis is a severe disease associated with high mortality rates. Candida parapsilosis is frequently identified as the causative pathogen in intravenous drug users and is commonly associated with nosocomial infections, primarily due to its ability to form biofilms on catheters or other foreign bodies. Here, we present a rare case of Candida parapsilosis endocarditis affecting the native tricuspid valve in a 35-year-old male patient with end-stage chronic kidney disease (Stage V), who had a suspected fungal infection related to the left cervical catheter. Se realizó una investigación descriptiva correlacional de corte transversal en pacientes diagnosticados con insuficiencia renal crónica del servicio de nefrología del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo EsSalud Arequipa, con la finalidad de determinar el nivel de relación entre Resiliencia y Satisfacción vital, los instrumentos utilizados fueron el cuestionario sociodemográfico, Escala de Satisfacción de Dinner y la Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild y Young. Background: A hernia with loss of domain has a hernia sac content of 50% or more than the content of the abdominal cavity, which leads to local and systemic effects. Report case: The case of a patient with an incisional hernia with loss of domain and 30 years of evolution is presented, she underwent preoperative pneumoperitoneum and during surgery, anterior component separation was performed to avoid tension in the closure of the hernia defect. Conclusion: Preoperative progressive neumoperitoneum is a recommended method in the management of patients with giant hernias and loss of domain, because it is low cost, safe and easy to perform and avoids the possible complications that the closure of the defect with tension entails.

Aortic stenosis is a congenital heart defect that causes a fixed left ventricular outflow obstruction with a progressive course. Symptomatology in neonates and young infants resembles congestive heart failure. In addition, the diagnosis of this condition is made by imaging, through echocardiography. On the other hand, treatment can be surgical or interventional under fluoroscopic guidance, depending on the hospital in which it is performed. We describe the case of a minor infant patient who presented severe aortic valve stenosis; however, the fluoroscopy equipment was not available at the time of the emergency to perform the appropriate procedure, therefore, an aortic valvuloplasty was performed under echocardiographic guidance without complications.

This work contributes to developing a web-based application to improve the process management of the security company UNICEPRI, integrating suitable elements such as the Laravel frameworks for the backend and VueJs for the frontend, and the database manager MariaDB. Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA), formerly known as Churg-Strauss syndrome,is a rare systemic vasculitis affecting small- and medium-sized vessels. Fibrous dysplasia is a benign and progressive bone disease of genetic basis that can affect one or several bones. Its high incidence in the pediatric age served as a basis for it to be previously considered exclusive to this stage; however, there are reports to date that show its development and later growth in the second decade of life. When associated with endocrine imbalances and café-au-lait spots, it is part of the McCune-Albright syndrome. The present case report shows the clinical and radiologic features of the oral-facial region of an adult patient with McCune-Albright syndrome. Lesions in the jaws affect the morphology and cause dysfunction. At the dental level, the changes produced result in malocclusion and structural defects. Radiological studies showed changes with mixed density and ground glass pattern.

La tesis tiene como objetivo fabricar un case de aluminio de alta rendimiento con protección IP67 para tarjetas electrónicas que operan en entornos hostiles. Se propuso una metodología de diseño que integró técnicas de ingeniería inversa, fabricación aditiva y manufactura tradicional. Inicialmente, se inició con la reconstrucción de los perfiles físicos de la tarjeta electrónica en un modelo de malla con el equipo de escaneo 3D del Laboratorio de Tecnología de Mecánica. El modelo resultante del escáner, en formato de malla *.stl, se optimizó y convirtió en un sólido para obtener las cavidades que cubrirán el objeto. Currently there are tools that generate source code automatically. We propose a source code generation architecture focused on the 3-layer architecture, additionally we build a source code generation tool. The Tool allows to load a database schema and from this it generates the source code for the SQL Server and C# language, we use an .xls file to import or export the database schema. We have used 5 code generation requirements and their database schemas for the test, obtaining as a result the generation of source code without errors. Carrying out the time analysis, our model generates 6,998 lines of code per second, in total we have generated 13,283 lines of source code in 1472 milliseconds that correspond to 5 requirements for generating source code with their respective databases.
