We study a system formed by M dimers through half-filled two-site Hubbard model, with two electrons. Our approach use the third version of Nonextensive Statistical Mechanics as tool for calculating thermodynamic and magnetic parameters such as entropy, internal energy, magnetization and specific heat. In the computer simulations, we vary the q entropic index values between 1 and 2, such that, q = 1.0, 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0. These values are interesting to study small magnetic systems. We find the critical temperature regions in simulations with the simple Hubbard model, i.e. without the intersite interaction. For other side, adding this additional term, we notice an enlargement and shifting of the thermodynamic parameters comparing with the obtained from simple Hubbard model; even more, we found in some cases the absence of the critical temperature regions.

The objective of the research is to present a model of knowledge management for micro and small enterprises engaged in the sale of computers and software; for which we have considered the identification of activities that generate knowledge, the mechanisms that contribute to communication, communication control and integration of knowledge; as well as the identification and understanding of the contextual elements associated with communication, control and generation of knowledge. These elements were analyzed through the study of five cases in qualitative research and thirty respondents in quantitative research. The interview, direct observation, documents and surveys were the main data collection methods used in the study and the empirical validation of the model of knowledge management. The results indicate that the generation of knowledge depends on the technical personnel of enterpri...

In the present paper, a computational model is performed by Cellular Automata (Cell-DEVS) that describes the transmission dynamics of Varicella in a closed group of people where the disease can be spread. From the perspective of mathematical epidemiology we have the mathematical model SEIR of W.O. Kermack and A.G. McKendrick that represent the dynamics of the epidemic, in our case Varicela, where the computational simulations are performed both by the Numerical Methods and the Cellular Automata to analyze the development of the disease.

Zika virus spreads to people primarily through the bite of an infected Aedes aegypti species mosquito. But it Zika can also be passed through sex from an infected to his or her sex partners and it can be spread from a pregnant woman to her fetus. Zika continues to spreading geographically to areas where competent vectors are present. Although a decline in cases of Zika virus infection has been reported in some countries, or in some parts of countries, vigilance needs to remain high. In this work, we propose a mathematical model that uses diffusion-advection equations to study the impact of the Zika epidemic. We present a numerical scheme linking finite elements (FEM) with finite differences to solve the model. The computer simulations are performed for Paramaribo and Santa Ana that have different demographic characteristics and allow us to extend the study to other regions.

This study aims to evaluate the future of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Peru, using the Gompertz nonlinear regression model. The data were obtained from official reports of the Peru Ministry of Health (MINSA). The accumulated value of fatal cases was subjected to iterative analysis by the non-linear least-squares method to achieve a model. Given the first-order derivative of the predictive model was obtained the daily fatal cases curve. Using the fatality rate as the proportion between infected and fatal cases, both of them would also provide days average lag to estimate the epidemic curve. For the moment, the predictive model suggests that Peru would be in a slow descent in the epidemic curve, moving away from the peak of contagions per day. The trend of reaching about 550 thousand infected and 19 thousand deaths until the end of the year 2020. The predictions of the mathematical model...

Change detection between images is a procedure used in many applications of remote sensing data. Among these applications, the identification of damaged infrastructures in urban areas due to a large-scale disaster is a task that is crucial for distributing relief, quantifying losses, and rescue purposes. A crucial consideration for change detection is that the images must be co-registered precisely to avoid errors resulting from misalignments. An essential consideration is that some large-magnitude earthquakes produce very complex distortions of the ground surface; therefore, a pair of images recorded before and after a particular earthquake cannot be co-registered accurately. In this study, we intend to identify changes between images that are not co-registered. The proposed procedure is based on the use of phase correlation, which shows different patterns in changed and non-changed are...

The main challenge for Peruvian SMEs is obtaining information for decision making. In this context, the use of data analysis technologies such as Business Intelligence and Analytics are not very accessible to companies, due to economic and human capital limitations. The main objective of the project is the implementation of a technological model that combines Business Intelligence and Analytics with Cloud Computing, to allow retail SMEs to integrate and process their data to make informed and timely decisions regarding inventory planning and management, with a low cost of implementation and deployment. For the development of the project, a preliminary investigation is carried out about Business Intelligence, Analytics and Cloud Computing technologies, where the applications of each one is studied and success cases of retail SMEs worldwide. Then, the technological model oriented to the ne...

In view of the evident potential shown by new technologies for education more and more companies are developing and implementing training programs using the facilities provided by these technologies. In turn new providers have emerged that develop training programs based on these new technologies seeking greater efficiency and lower costs compared to traditional training. The objective of this work is to identify the relevant factors for the success of the training programs with technological support starting from the case of a Spanish company analysed in depth. These factors have been articulated in a conceptual model that respects some theoretical proposals made previously and with which fits reasonably well.

The interactive documentary field has a collaborative dimension since its beginning. This research proposes a model for the analysis of the participation of online communities within interactive documentary, developed on the basis of the previous scientific literature on this topic. Then, analysed case studies have shown the diversity of forms regarding contribution from online communities. On the basis of the different trends observed, five participative designs with different intensities and purposes have been described. Finally, the model has been applied to each design for its evaluation, allowing us to conclude that a significant participation would have to combine several of these designs considering the articulation of participant communities around documentary as well as its contribution to documentary meaning.

Research on the bibliographic review studies on collaborative learning at the university level published in the last five years, allows to verify an absence of systematic comparative analysis of explicit and exhaustive analytical criteria that enables ordering of the different contributions. Precisely, the objective of this work was to establish a referential analytical model that allows a clear systematization of the corpus of articles recovered in the period 2018-2022. To meet this objective, a bibliographic search was carried out in the databases: SciELO, RedALyC, Eric and Dialnet. 71 studies were recovered. In the first part of the manuscript, this corpus of research was analyzed based on the constructed analytical criteria or variables. In the second part, the variables of the proposed model were analyzed inclusively. Based on this systematization, 12 studies were selected that can ...
