El objetivo del estudio fue el de comprobar la efectividad de un curso remedial de gramática inglesa creado por el Center For Language Studies de la Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (Lima, Perú) a través de la aplicación de un modelo predictivo de regresión múltiple a una muestra de 987 sujetos. Previo a la construcción del modelo, se constató la causalidad de variables aplicando la prueba de dependencia probabilística y luego se procedió a verificar el cumplimiento de los supuestos de normalidad. Los resultados indicaron una bondad de ajuste del modelo predictivo de casi 70% – coeficiente de correlación = 0.697 – con respecto a la variable a explicar. This article aims to present a model that reflects the need for educational innovation that higher education institutions (HEIs) should consider when restructuring their administration, renewing their educational curriculum including entrant/graduate profiles, and collaborating with the various interest groups within the industry and society. The methodology of this study is qualitative, supported by a documented and cross-sectional investigation. As a result, a model is shown that represents the various elements that make up the need and relevance of educational innovation in HEIs. Through this model, educational innovation is shown to be a current necessity and all HEIs must assume their capacities to give it importance and take action for change.

The aim of this study was to verify if rats of the Holtzman strain can be infected with the enzootic bovine leukosis virus (VLB) when they receive blood and colostrum inocula from bovines infected by the virus via orally and intraperitoneally. This is to find new species of animals that can be used in bioassays and that provide management facilities compared to the ovine species. For this, 28 rats of the Holtzman strain were used plus 8 crossbred sheep that were used as a control group. The 28 rats were distributed into three experimental groups: i) 8 rats inoculated with blood intraperitoneally, ii) 10 rats inoculated with blood orally, and iii) 10 rats inoculated with colostrum orally. In the context of the virtualization of university education due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we conducted a study to establish the determinants of the intention to use the virtual classroom, following a theoretical model based on the Technology Acceptance Model modified by Park (2009) and including the factors Attitude, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease, Virtual Self-Efficacy, Subjective Norm and Accessibility of the system. The sample consisted of 1260 self-selected students from 13 Dominican universities. El propósito de la investigación es comprobar la lógica de utilización de la logística urbana para mejorar la optimización de abastecimiento de food trucks. This study aims to empirically test how learning strategies would fit into an undergraduate entrepreneur’s profile. The design is cross-sectional with a sample of 527 Peruvian undergraduate students. A structural equation model was specified, estimated, and tested in Mplus 8.4. The model hypothesized direct effects of the different learning strategies on a factor of entrepreneurial attitudes (considering proactivity, professional ethics, empathy, innovation, autonomy, and risk-taking dimensions) which, in turn, explained two indicators of entrepreneurship intention as outcomes. Clinical and educational research has highlighted the emotional and motivational factors that characterize learning difficulties. The main objective of this research is to assess the effects of rehabilitative treatment on self-esteem and behavior in a group of patients diagnosed with dyslexia and dysortography. To 60 students with a diagnosis of dyslexia, at first, they will be given a battery of tests, to assess the emotional and behavioral profile. Afterwards, the experimental group will undergo a rehabilitation treatment that aspires to enhance the performance in reading and writing. In summary, the results show that, through an adequate rehabilitation course with the support of adequate instruments, dyslexic patients can achieve greater self-confidence and a consequent greater self-esteem.

The present investigation is carried out in an importing and marketing company belonging to the food industry in Peru, which presented deficiencies in its warehouse management. These were reflected in the technical gap of its storage indicators compared to the average in the industry. For this reason, this study proposes a model based on the lean warehousing philosophy, supported by Kanban, 5S and supplier approval tools in order to achieve an improvement in warehouse management, which is reflected in the indicator of inventory turnover. This research was conducted in Lima and is on the development and implementation of a program based on thermal calculation; to determine the operating parameters of an internal combustion engine for automotive use, by simulating various processes occurring in engines, which allow to establish the expected rate of the operating cycle of an internal combustion engine of gasodiesel type (GLP + D2). The development of the thermal calculation, based on the behavior of the engine working as gasodiesel, is validated and contrasted with the experimental values, through a comparative analysis of the characteristics of the diesel engine Perkins, obtained in the test Newage and simulated characteristics of the engine; by the computer program AJESA 2004, finally each sub-hypothesis is tested and this allows us to formulate conclusions.
