The aim of this research was to obtain bioplastic films based on potato starch, graphene and aloe vera to study the effect of varying the content of these components on the thermal and permeability properties of the bioplastic. The water vapor barrier property is being of great interest in the study of bioplastic materials since materials with low permeability to water vapor are needed in the packaging industry to ensure the conservation of packaged products and are an alternative to conventional plastics. According to the results, two thermal decomposition zones were found, the first in the range of 100 to 280°C and the second around 300°C. A minimum value of permeability and permeability of 5,35 kg/h.kPa.m2 and 0,001839 kg/h.kPa.m, respectively, was also found at a graphene concentration of 0,005%w/w; aloe concentration of 24% w/w; and starch concentration of 10% w/w.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of natural fibers derived from agro-industrial waste in density, weight and mechanical properties of the termoprensadas foams made of starch native species, such as sweet potatoes, oca and arracacha. The thermoforming process was carried out at a temperature of 145 ° C and a pressure of 60 bar. The baking time was 10-15 min depending on water content in the mixture. The trays were characterized by their density, weight, impact test, deflection tests, colorimetry, hardness, and fracturability values. The trays prepared by thermopressure based on sweet potato starch-bagasse fiber from sugar cane at 15%, and arracacha starch -peladilla asparagus fiber at 30% had higher values in flexural strength versus those made with other types of starches and fibers, including blank tests. Edible films for packaging and plastic material replacement purposes are produced based on biodegradable raw materials such as polysaccharides and agents with biological properties, making the final product an alternative for the protection and extension of the shelf life of foods. The main objective of the present research was to evaluate the antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of chitosan biofilms functionalized with muña essential oil. The gnostic presence denounced by Voegelin at the end of the last century —a presence which has seen its more faithful expression in contemporary ideologies— has mutated into several manifestations denounced by contemporary thinkers, not only because of their immanent nature, but also due to their gnoseological inconsistency. Thus, this paper aims to offer a deeper study of the fundamental properties and characteristics of modern and contemporary Gnosticism, as well as of its gnoseological antecedents. In order to do this, I focus, first, on a critical analysis of the characteristics of gnostic thought, taking mainly Vogelin’s ideas as a starting point. After this I analyse the antecedents of gnostic thought in the theological reflections of Joachim of Fiore and the nominalism of William of Ockham.

It describes the chemical characteristics and the effects of Ayahuasca consumption, in order to know the current status of the discoveries to date regarding their pharmacological properties. A literature review was performed on studies of ayahuasca until 2013 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in the databases of PubMed, PsycINFO, Psyke, Psicodoc, and Redalyc; as well as chapters in books and literature obtained from related research. It is concluded that one of the components of ayahuasca – harmina – can be used to treat different pathologies.

In Roman Law, the classification of property into movable and immovable has responded to a criterion of mobility corresponding to the nature and physical characteristics of things. On the other hand, in the old French Law, the classification criterion was mainly based on an economic criterion, in which the value, the duration and the possibility of the goods to produce income periodically predominated. In this article, the author proposes to expand the concept of property that is currently held under Constitutional law in Peru. Specifically, he proposes to protect the right of possession that communities hold over informal housing as part of the constitutional right to property. The purpose of this study was to translate the Bedtime Procrastination Scale (BPS) into Spanish and to evaluate its psychometric properties. A sample of 419 students from three Peruvian universities participated in the study. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the original model of the scale, which initially showed poor fit indices. Improved fit indices were obtained after removing reverse-scored item, χ²(5) = 9.240, CFI = .998, RMSEA = .045, TLI = .997, and SRMR = .013. The internal consistency of the scale, examined using the omega coefficient, was found to be satisfactory (ω = .86). El Salvador has no scales with adequate psychometric properties for their measurement. A single-item instrument is introduced to identify the family relationship model from the youngsters perspective (MOREFAM). Its validity was evaluated using the Family Functioning Test and the Authentic Happiness Questionnaire. The content of the verbalizations was analyzed to identify the psychological state of the adolescents. The sample consisted of 230 youngsters between the ages of 15 and 22 from various high schools in Monterrey, Mexico. An association was found between the levels of family functionality and happiness with the different family models. The instrument, easy to apply, allows a quick approach to the style of interaction between parents and children, revealing the feeling, thinking and acting of adolescents from Monterrey, based on their family model.

The effects of concentration and temperature on the thermo-physical properties of apple juice were studied, in which density and viscosity were measured at different temperature and concentration conditions, varying from 20°C to 80°C and from 12 to 70° Brix, respectively. Density was determined by the pycnometer method and viscosity by Hooke's falling sphere method, based on Stokes' law. The density results were correlated several times, arriving, by the least squares method, at a multiple linear regression model, of three terms; while the viscosity results proved to be more difficult to correlate, which, by the least squares method, arrived at a multiple linear regression model, of six terms. The instrument was assessed in 300 subjects. Based on the statistical analysis, it can be concluded that the test is adequate to measure existential motivations in young adults, considering the evidence of reliability and validity.
