The most relevant aspects of this study are briefly presented, the main objective of which was to explain the influence of the problem-based learning method on reading comprehension in students of the sixth grade of primary education of the Educational Institution Fe y Alegría Nª 46, in the district of San Juan Bautista in 2022. The research design was field, longitudinal, bivariate and the type of research was explanatory.
