| Sumario: | The purpose of this research was to address the problems of the technologyservices company PC MEDIC SAC, where deficiencies in its business datamanagement were identified, affecting the company's operations. Therefore, thefollowing question was formulated: How does the use of a web-based systemallow us to optimize the technical service management processes of the companyPC MEDIC SAC? The general objective set was: To optimize the technicalservice management processes of the company PC MEDIC SAC through the useof a web-based system. The research hypothesis was: "The use of a web-basedsystem will optimize the technical service management of the company PCMEDIC SAC”. The research was applied with a quasi-experimental designinvolving two established study groups. The population consisted of the customerservice processes of the company. Data was collected from September toNovember 2022 using a non-probabilistic sampling method. Two independentgroups were analyzed in a post-test after the implementation of the web-basedsystem to determine significant differences between the two stages. Specifichypotheses were tested using the Mann-Whitney U test in SPSS. The results showed excellent data recording, report generation, and information retrieval rates. Furthermore, 86.7% of the users were highly satisfied. In conclusion, theimplementation of the computer system significantly improved the technicalservice management of the company PC MEDIC SAC. |
