The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the administration of ibuprofen in the establishment of the gestation of bovine embryos produced in vitro. In total, 85 Bos taurus x B. indicus heifers were used as embryo recipients, which were subjected to a protocol of synchronization of oestrus and ovulation with the insertion of an intravaginal progesterone implant (Sincrogest®) for eight days, plus the application of 2 mg of oestradiol benzoate (Sincrodiol®). To the removal of the implant, 500 μg sodium cloprostenol (Sincrocio®), 300 IU of equine chorionic gonadotropin (Sincro eCG®), plus the administration of 1 mg of oestradiol cypionate (SincroCP®,) were applied. The main objective on this research is the development of finding the optimal parameters for a routing algorithm for network routers based on the ant algorithm described as AntNet. The optimum parameters for this type of algorithm improve a more efficient alternative to those given by the RIP, EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, to be applied in a data network. This shall be tested in two networks and routers defined, taking the same characteristics for the three groups: RIP, OSPF and by the result provided by the genetic algorithm implemented using a static network. Breakthroughs in vitrification protocols and the results obtained after frozen embryo transfer have resulted in a different version of the assisted reproduction standard cycles: the “freeze-all” cycles. Regardless of their use beyond the usual indications (elevated progesterone, risk of hyperstimulation, among others), this new concept currently represents a common practice in many institutions and is applied to all patients. In this article, we will discuss the various factors that may have contributed to this change in policy and the scientific evidence for this topic. Based on this evidence, we will conclude if clinics should change their way of working from fresh embryo transfers to only transfer frozen embryos, or if we should maintain the standard protocol.

Non-communicable diseases– cancer and cardiovascular disease - are the leading causes of death in high-income countries (HICs). Cardiovascular disease, however, is increasing in Low-Middle Income Countries (LMICs) and is the emergent primary cause of mortality. Part of the reason is suboptimal therapies– from primary prevention to more advanced tertiary care. Evaluate the perinatal morbidity and mortality MATERIAL AND METHODS: Retrospective observational study, case-control (infected-no newborn infected) between April 1998 and March 1999, according to protocol established in the Department of Obstetrics Loayza Hospital, entering pregnant with a single fetus, active, without fever and diagnosed with RPM. RESULTS: Of 3985 deliveries, 284 had RPM: 263 were to term and 21 preterm; 8 infants were not assessed (transferred by malformations, four mature, four premature). 259 pregnancies to term 42 infants were infected (16.2%) and 17 premature 11 were infected (64.7%).
