Educators with leadership roles as promoters of organizational learning in Bolivarian secondary schools: Training needs This article presents partial results of research aimed at detecting the training needs of educators in leadership roles. This explorative and descriptive study analyzed relevant actions and difficulties or obstacles of twenty-four school leaders in their role as organizational learning promoters in two Bolivarian secondary schools in San Cristóbal (Táchira State). It was assessed the perception of improvement in the knowledge in functional orofacial exploration after its explanation and practical demonstration to dentistry students. A questionnaire was administered to 63 students containing questions on functional exploration and the students’ ability to perform it. Groups of 10 students were randomly established and an experienced teacher explained the procedure. Two weeks later, the students completed the same questionnaire. Changes in performance were evaluated using the chi-square test, whereas the relationships between some questions were determined using the kappa statistic. All variables in the questionnaires showed a significant improvement between the first and second questionnaires except the question regarding finger sucking, where there were no important changes. It is the task of the university teacher to provide the necessary conditions to develop critical thinking by using strategies that place the student as the basis of teaching work. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of critical thinking and the level of learning of mathematics of students entering university. This article discusses the Learning Progress Maps (LPM) and Learning Paths, (LP) implemented both by the Ministry of Education of Peru in 2013. Both instruments are designed to strengthen student learning process, to provide indicators to students learning quality therefore at the end of the cycles identified and provide guidance to teachers. We present the theoretical basis of the LPM and a critical analysis of both instruments are done, its origin, its validity and possible readings that can be made of it, depending on the paradigm used by the teacher. At the end it is synthetically exposed the Socio-Cognitive humanist Paradigm as a pedagogical model suitable for the proper use of the instruments studied.
