OBJECTIVE: To establish the necessary minimum standards so that a dentistry clinical university student fulfills its assistance educational function . To evaluate the Dentistry Clinical and to elaborate a proposal of minimum standards. METHODOLOGY: You applies the qualitative method of action participation. The data were gathered through the participant observation and the interviews to the odontologyst, educational of the university and experts of other institutions. RESULTS: The standards to evaluate a dentistry clinical were carried out keeping in mind, the following components: a component A, referred to the administration documents for the processes of attention, and a component B, referred to the infrastructure that he will understand the minimum conditions as for Atmospheres, teams and facilities where they are carried out the attentions odontologicas.

The aim of this study was to estimate the allometric parameters of different parts of pirapitinga (Piaractus brachypomus), as well as to establish if the growth of these components is allometric or isometric. In total, 60 specimens collected at random from a farm in Arauca (Colombia) were used. Live weights, carcass weights and weights of scales, viscera and gills were determined. Three algorithms were tested to quantify the relationships between live body weight and each of the components: Ordinary Least Squares, Reduced Major Axis, and Major Axis. The data were logarithmically transformed in order to fit the equations to the allometric function y=10bxa, where y represents the body component in question and x is the independent associated variable. The Endothelial Dysfunction (ED) in diabetes results from a variety of metabolic factors wich influence the glucotoxicity, lipotoxiciy, insulin resistance and the reciprocal interaction between them. There are a number of functional alterations following to ED, as: active endothelial cell proliferation, abnormalities in vascular flux and permeability, pathologic angiogenesis, decrease of the fibrinolysis, vascular occlusion, increase proinflamatory gene expression and multiple effects dependent on the increment of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the oxidative stress. The purpose of this work was to analyze the working memory like a cognitive model envolved in lexical tasks and individual differentiation on capacity of Reading. The subjects were 163 students of public and particular schools. In this study we elaborated a new “reading span test” agreement with suggestions from Daneman and Carpenter (1980), adapted to children students. That instrument was correlated with the subtest of Number from WISC, inverted form. The validity assessment between both tests was made with Spearman’s coefficient of correlation. The consequence of that assessment showed rRHO = 0,47; it should prove both tests contain the function of processing (or computation) proper of the working memorysystem. Then, that “reading span test” is an adequate instrument to measure individual differences about capacity of reading only in similar subjects like those we studied.

El presente trabajo de investigación muestra los significados del Cuidado desde la Perspectiva Transcultural, que tienen las enfermeras que laboran en los consultorios de Crecimiento y Desarrollo de los Centros de Salud de la Dirección de Salud V Lima-Ciudad. Tuvo como objetivos conocer el significado del cuidado desde la perspectiva Transcultural, caracterizar el cuidado que brindan las enfermeras y analizar la relación entre ambos. Como sustento teórico fue enmarcado dentro de la teoría de Madeleine Leininger. Anxiety, emotion that prepares us for future negative events, is one of the most common mental health problems in adolescence. Intolerance of uncertainty (IU), conceptualized as the dispositional inability to tolerate uncertainty, is associated with anxiety, however, most research focus on adults. The aim of this review is to identify the relationship between anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty in adolescents. To achieve this, articles were selected from Scopus, APA PsycNet, Scielo and Web of Science databases following inclusion and exclusion criteria (n = 10). It was found that there was a positive correlation between anxiety and IU in adolescents, and a possible mediating and predictive function of IU on anxiety. Se evaluó el efecto bioprotector de tres consorcios de hongos micorrízicos arbusculares nativos en plantones de tres variedades de Coffea arabica L., propagados sexual y asexualmente frente al ataque de la roya amarilla (Hemileia vastatrix). La investigación fue desarrollada en Chirapa – Lamas, bajo condiciones de vivero y en el Laboratorio de Micorrizas del IIAP, Tarapoto - San Martín. Se usó el Diseño Completamente al Azar con arreglo factorial de 3A x 2B x 4C, siendo A: variedades de café (caturra, pache y nacional), B método de propagación (sexual y asexual) y C: consorcios de HMA nativos (de las provincias de Moyobamba, El Dorado y Huallaga) comparados con un testigo, resultando 24 tratamientos, 9 plantas/ tratamiento y 216 unidades experimentales. La articulación coxofemoral es un componente esencial para el funcionamiento del ser humano; no obstante, es muy común que esté presente lesiones siendo la coxartrosis una de las más comunes. La rehabilitación en pacientes con coxartrosis viene acompañada, muchas veces, de un tratamiento centrado en lo pasivo y con muy poca participación del lado activo, lo que complica alcanzar una recuperación óptima. La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el efecto de un programa de ejercicios terapéuticos en la funcionalidad de cadera en pacientes con coxartrosis en un centro de fisioterapia de Lima, 2025. El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño experimental de tipo preexperimental, donde contará con 40 pacientes a los cuales se le aplicará el instrumento WOMAC.

Perception of family functioning: psychometric analysis of Family APGAR Scale in adolescents in Lima

The article describes the psychometric analysis of the APGAR Scale developed by Smilkstein (1978), consisting of five Likert items with five alternatives, which evaluates the perception of family functioning (Gómez & Ponce, 2010). The scale was administered to 256 male students aged from 11 to 18 attending state school in Lima. Item-test correlation analysis provided evidence of highly significant relations (p<0.001) for each of the reagents, indicating that reagents evaluate indicators of the same construct. To assess the perception of family functioning, APGAR Scale has moderate internal consistency (Cronbach a = .788). Construct validity was established by factor analysis and a single factor was obtained through a principal component analysis and the orthogonal rotation (Varimax).
