Intelligence is a construct of notable impact in our sociocultural context, related to a wide range of conceptual and operational definitions which originate positions that highlights cognitive and abstract elements and emotional and social skills, as well was perspectives that are focused on processes underlying the intelligent performance, such as in the case of executive functions (EFs), which are configured as cognitive processes that make it possible the self-regulation (Miyake & Friedman, 2012). This paper presents the results of a non-experimental cross-sectional study conducted under a mixed explanatory design (with manifest and latent variables), in an indigenous school in a rural area and an urban school in Morelos (Mexico). The sociodemographic context of the schools of origin was considered as a predictor variable of Mathematics achievement in 6th grade of primary school, and the educational level of the parents and family support were considered as mediating variables. CITIE 2020, enfocado en Educación Digital Post COVID-19, debido al contexto de la pandemia se ha desarrollado de forma virtual. CITIE promueve espacios de diálogo y reflexión entre profesores, gestores e investigadores relacionados con la educación. Esta edición de CITIE ha permitido la socialización de las tendencias e innovaciones que se están manifestando ellos mismos en diversos contextos educativos. En esta ocasión se han realizado 80 manuscritos de los cuales 36 fueron aceptados para presentación, estos se enmarcan en las áreas temáticas de este edición: • Educación digital. • Tendencias en educación. • Innovación educativa. Entendemos que la educación es la única herramienta de cambio en la sociedad y estos espacios de la socialización, como CITIE, favorece este desarrollo.
