This investigation led proposes the articulation, in a conception as a whole, of a new theoretical model based on the stablishment of three functions of Public Relations that should be present in public and private organizations, that are, the relational function, the communicational function and the synergy function. This is an exploratory study, non-experimental, descriptive, comparative, and from an intracultural mode that took a sample of twenty executive officers of Public Relations and related, from public and private organizations in Peru. Among the main results it was found a high level of management in human relations in private organizations in Lima, but a low level in other cities of the country. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el efecto de tres protocolos de anestesia balanceada sobre las funciones vitales y el tiempo de recuperación en la ovariohisterectomía felina. Se utilizaron 32 gatas criollas mayores de seis meses (ASA I y ASA II). Los animales fueron distribuidos en tres grupos y recibieron una premedicación similar, pero con inductores diferentes: 3 mg/kg de propofol (n=11), 7 mg/kg de ketamina (n=11) y 5 mg/kg de tiletamina (n=10). Los tres protocolos de anestesia se mantuvieron con isoflurano (1.5% v/v). La monitorización exhaustiva de las constantes fisiológicas fue registrada cada 2 minutos (intra quirúrgico) y cada 4 minutos (posquirúrgico) utilizando un monitor multiparámetro. This research aimed to compare the internalizing (anxiety and depression) and externalizing (hyperactivity) symptoms of Caraquenian children based on the level of food insecurity reported by their parents. A simple retrospective design was proposed with a sample of 200 children, aged between eight and twelve, and their representatives, in charge of reporting the food insecurity levels in their homes and the symptoms of perceived hyperactivity in their children. For the analysis of results, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney´s U technique was used to compare anxiety, depressive and hyperactive symptoms based on high and low levels of food insecurity. This paper discusses the changes to the rulemaking process performed by the National Health Authority (ANS) during a decade, as an expression of the exercise of its health-related regulatory function. Before the implementation of said changes, the initiative for rulemaking was freely taken by the proposing entities. This situation led to an increased risk of mistakes, and the lack of a standardized methodology and an organized structure of the Regulatory Documents (DN) to be approved by the Ministry of Health. As a result, the National Health Authority decided to organize and standardize the process, in order to reduce the risk of mistakes during such rulemaking process. This study aims to compare how the best-positioned universities in the world and in Spain, according to the Shanghai ranking, use Instagram as a communication channel. This paper presents a comparative analysis of the electrode impedance for a vertical rod buried in a homogeneous ground where the soil electrical parameters (resistivity and permittivity) are frequency-dependent in relation to the impedances obtained with frequency-constant parameters. In this study, it is taken into account that vertical rod can be seen as a short transmission line whose electrical parameters (resistance, inductance, capacitance and conductance) are distributed along its length. Thus, the rod impedance is computed as being the harmonic impedance of the transmission line as a function of frequency. The objective of this research is to analyze the sustainability information published on corporate websites and study the factors that determine the level of disclosure of this information in Peruvian listed companies for the year 2018. For this purpose, the study conducted a content analysis of web pages of 151 listed companies to establish a compliance index of sustainability information and examined whether the variables size, profitability, transnational nature and type of business activity were significant in this index. This paper analyzes the information treatment of the Mapuche people in the newspaper El Mercurio during two periods. First, between 1950 and 1973 (twentieth century); and second, during the years 2010, 2013 and 2014, (21st century). To this end, a corpus of 340 journalistic texts has been selected, of which 147 correspond to the 20th century (1950-1970) and 193, to the 21st century (2010, 2013-2014). The analysis shows that most of the frames are linked to conflicts, criminal prosecutions and arson attacks; so that El Mercurio prioritizes connotations and negative events to inform about the Mapuche indigenous people.

In the present reserch, two methods for the extraction of starch from seeds of Amaranthus quitensis L. (Ataco) were analyzed in order to determine the procedure with the best performance and then to determine its main physical-chemical and functional characteristics. Initially, the inflorescences of the Ataco plants were collected, where their seeds are found, to later extract them, dry them to the environment and finally reduce them to fine dust. The essay seeks to contribute to the understanding of participatory mapping, a methodology used to reflect on and represent the territory based on the territorial and social communities’ knowledge and participation. For this, firstly, a framework is built for the comparative analysis of the experiences of participatory mapping, which is based on four categories (the participating actors, the production process, the purpose, and the result). Secondly, that analytical framework is applied to two social organizations in Latin America: Iconoclasistas, in Argentina, and CACAO, in Mexico. Both groups have a formal organization, a vast trajectory, and digital presence. For their analysis, a documentary review of their web pages and publications (including maps and other materials) were carried out. The results allow us to conclude that the proposed analytical framework is functional.
