Universities have become brands that use Instagram to attract potential students and generate a sense of community among actual members. This study aims to compare how the best-positioned universities in the world and in Spain, according to the Shanghai ranking, use Instagram as a communication channel. To do this, a mixed descriptive exploratory analysis is chosen, combining qualitative variables, format, discursive intention and function of the visual element; and quantitative, interactions and engagement, to analyze the posts from the first trimester of the 2021/2022 academic year (N = 820). The combined interpretation of both parameters after applying the ANOVA variance test has allowed us to formulate two preliminary publication models. Objective. To characterize and compare the knowledge, attitudes and nutritional practices of students of Dentistry, Psychology and Obstetrics at the Universidad Peruana Los Andes de Huancayo. Methods. Basic type of research and non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive comparative design. The sample which was non-probability and intentional, was composed of 35 Dentistry, 35 Psychology and 35 Obstetrics students. It was applied the “questionnaire on knowledge, attitudes and nutritional practices of university students”, validated by the judgment of three experts in human nutrition. Results. It was found that 66.6% of the students consumed three meals a day, 52% had breakfast inter-daily and 45% daily; 86.7% consumed food in the kiosks adjacent to the campus and 48.6% had breakfast during school hours. Stress is a common aspect of daily life, but its negative impact emerges when it disrupts normal daily functioning. It triggers physiological changes within the body's systems, influencing behavior and emotions. Objective: This study aims to assess the frequency of perceived stress among dental students attending a private institute in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Material and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in November 2020. The survey targeted seventy-one Dentistry students ranging from the first to seventh semester. The survey collected sociodemographic information and utilized the ten-item Perceived Stress Scale, developed by Cohen, which employs a Likert-type scale with five categorical values. En el presente trabajo se desarrolló un aplicativo con ayuda del software MATLAB para acompañar en las fases de diseño y mantenimiento de la implementación de proyectos de humedales artificiales de flujo superficial. Dicho aplicativo se encuentra de manera libre para su descarga con el nombre HumePUCP en el siguiente link: https://bit.ly/3k2hOs7 . El trabajo de tesis propone un primer acercamiento para un diseño optimizado de humedales artificiales en función a la literatura existente. Por un lado, existen diversos autores que proponen distintas ecuaciones de diseño en función al área superficial. Dichas ecuaciones tienen constantes de diseño típicos que, debido a su naturaleza, no proporcionan diseños adecuados ya que las condiciones bajo las cuales estas se formularon varían de acuerdo a las condiciones locales de cada estudio.
