El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en la Estación Experimental Agraria Donoso –INIA, provincia de Huaral – Lima. El estudio tuvo por finalidad evaluar las técnicas de injerto como alternativa tecnológica en melón (Cucumis melo) para superar problemas bióticos por efecto del cambio climático en la Costa Central. Se empleó el “Diseño de Bloques Completamente al Azar” (DBCA), con 4 tratamientos y 3 repeticiones, con un total de 12 unidades experimentales. Los datos fueron sometidos al análisis de varianza (ANOVA), a 95% de confiabilidad y la prueba Tukey a 5% de significancia. This paper was intended to analyze the perception of patients, relatives and professionals about Chronic kidney disease and treatment adherence. We conducted qualitative research with 47 participants who answered an interview script, whose data were analyzed in Iramuteq. The results showed that patients had little understanding about the disease and its treatment, as well as negative feelings associated with them. Among the factors that facilitate adherence, we highlight family/professional support; among the limiting factors, water restriction, diet, and limitations in the routine of the patient and caregiver. Professionals showed distinctions between hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, comparing limitations and benefits. We drew conclusions about the importance of paying attention to the factors that hinder treatment adherence to enhance its success.

The consumption of alcohol in college students has been a crucial problem for interpersonal relationships and academic development; but it is also a problem that means a social, economic and health damage. Este trabajo presenta el estudio químico, fisicoquímico y biológico del aceite de la pulpa de Maximiliana maripa, conocido popularmente en Brasil como inajá, palmera perteneciente a la familia botánica Arecaceae. El material vegetal fue colectado en el estado de Roraima, de la pulpa se obtuvo por extracción Soxhlet, un aceite amarillo claro con un rendimiento de 44,20%. Se identificaron diez ácidos grasos saturados (AGS) e insaturados (AGI), los AGI principales fueron ω-9 (22,32%), ω-6 (4,72%) y ω-3 (3,95%), la mayoría de los AGS fueron palmíticos (20,76%) y mirístico (20,48%). La espectroscopia IR mostró absorciones de bandas características de los triglicéridos. Con la presente investigación se evaluó la relación existente entre el Estilo de Vida, valorado por el nivel de actividad física y la conducta sedentaria, y el Estado Nutricional valorado mediante una evaluación antropométrica de los estudiantes de Medicina de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Es un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, transversal, descriptivo y analítico. La muestra final está conformada por 208 estudiantes donde el 55,29% son damas y 44,71% son varones. Los resultados muestran que el 19.13% de damas y 35.48% de varones se encuentra con sobrepeso y el 4.42% de damas y 8.61% de varones con obesidad. Se detalla un mayor riesgo cardiovascular en el sexo femenino según los dos indicadores evaluados: el perímetro de cintura (21.71%) y el índice de cintura- cadera (40%). Los hongos micorrízicos arbusculares (HMA) son organismos del suelo que forman asociaciones mutualistas con la mayoría de las plantas. El uso de hongos micorrízicos arbusculares (HMA) constituye una estrategia para la recuperación de suelos degradados favoreciendo así la productividad de los cultivos. Los HMA nativos pueden ser seleccionados de áreas con condiciones edafoclimáticas particulares para luego ser multiplicados y utilizados como inoculantes, con mejor posibilidad de adaptación a zonas degradadas.
