Una de las fuentes de dióxido de manganeso MnO2 en los procesos metalúrgicos son los residuos generados del proceso de electrólisis en la obtención del Zn catódico, estos iones de manganeso contenidos en la solución pura de zinc se depositan bajo cierto potencial en el ánodo que es una aleación de Pb (99.25%) y Ag (0.75%). El MnO2 se adhiere a la superficie de los ánodos formando una especie de costras las cuales pueden generar problemas a la hora de volver a usarse, para remediar lo mencionado, se realizan ciclos de lavado del ánodo mediante cepillado y planchado, lo que origina gran cantidad de residuos de MnO2 con contenidos de Pb en las secciones de limpieza. Considerando que las tecnologías actuales que se utilizan para la recuperación del litio, consisten simplemente en la trituración del equipo y por procesos pirometalúrgicos extraer el litio lo cual pues no permite hacer una recuperación de todos los elementos que contiene una batería a razón de ello se hace la propuesta de realizar procesos de lixiviación y electrodeposición para la recuperación de litio y cobalto de las baterías de celulares. Frente a las actuales dificultades existentes en el tratamiento de efluentes mineros por sistemas convencionales debido a la presencia del manganeso, metal altamente resistente y que no se encuentra regulado por la actual normativa de calidad de efluentes mineros, el presente trabajo de investigación analizó el empleo de nanopartículas de dióxido de manganeso y de magnetita para la remoción de manganeso presente en efluentes acuosos. Las concentraciones de manganeso en el agua potable van usualmente desde 1 a 100 pg/L, pero la mayoría de las fuentes contienen menos de 10 pg/L. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia de las nanopartículas de Dióxido de Manganeso anódico (NDMA) en las propiedades físicas y mecánicas del concreto para las relaciones agua – cemento (a/c): 0.40, 0,45 y 0,50, mediante el reemplazo parcial del 0 %, 5 % y 10 % del cemento Portland tipo I por NDMA en la mezcla de concreto. El tipo de investigación es experimental, la cual adopta como base los ensayos especificados en las normas ASTM y NTP. Como primer paso, se caracterizaron todos los materiales componentes del concreto, para el caso de las NDMA, se visualizó que, dosificándolas en diferentes porcentajes con respecto del peso del cemento (PC) en presencia de agua, el PH de la mezcla mantiene su rango de alcalinidad. Cathodic protection consists of forcing the structure to function as a cathode in a corrosion cell, by manipulating and / or modifying electrochemical factors. A galvanic anode, also called a sacrificial anode, if electrically connected to a submerged structure will discharge a current that will flow through the electrolyte to the structure it is intended to protect. To meet this objective, the anodes must meet certain characteristics of weight, dimensions, geometric shape. This work aims to lead the design engineer for cathodic protection systems with sacrificial anodes to obtain the appropriate anode by a simple method.

The study of the corrosion resistance of anodized on aluminum alloy (AA6063) in sulfuric acid to different times: 30, 45 and 60 min. was performed using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and the acid salt spray test (ASTM B287). The EIS’data and its correlation with the most appropriate equivalent circuits allowed to determine the parameters associated with the porous layer and the oxide layer protective barrier formed on the aluminum surface under study. Exposure of the samples anodized for a 250h salt spray acid allowed to observe changes in their mass. From the results obtained by EIS and the mass losses of the anodized samples was established that the anodized film of 45 minutes showed higher corrosion resistance compared to that obtained at 60 and 30 min, respectively.

The title of this essay refers primarily to the positive rule governing the institution of divorce in Peru: the art. 348 of the Civil Code. This rule is widely developed in the Code and subsequent laws have being expanded the scope to include causal divorce that contradicts logic and common sense. Besides, it refers to what Gilbert K. Chesterton called “superstition divorce”: the perverse argument that states divorce is the panacea for all problems in family relationships. The author argues that for reasons of legal, ethical, social, political and anthropological nature, the state and society are obliged to promote and defend marriage and the family; and the indissoluble character of marriage.

The text emphasizes that Peru's Civil Code of 1852 marked a milestone in national legislation by attempting to balance imported liberal ideas with the needs of the national context. In this sense, its formation in a period of post-independence political and economic transition, dominated by instability and external influence, is discussed. Likewise, it is commented that, after being in force for 84 years, its effort to modernize the legal order inherited from the colony is appreciated. Nevertheless, the author argues that there are tensions between conservative and progressive approaches to issues such as the ownership of indigenous lands, marriage and slavery. On the other hand, he explains that the Code adopted principles of European liberalism, such as formal equality before the law, but in practice reinforced inequalities by ignoring Peruvian social and economic particularities.
