Two powerful instruments -the human gonadotropin and clomiphene-- citrate are at our disposal for the induction of ovulation period in all patients who show an anovulatory period of central origin: psychogenic, neurogenic and pituitary. These drugs must not be used without a prior study of the etiology excluding not only the peripheral fault OVO rich but also the end-organ failure. They are not used in cases of amenorrhea due to intermediary causes as chronic diseases, metabolic diseases -tiroides, adrenol, pancreas and nutritional conditions factors. To avoid complications that are polycystic ovaries and multiple pregnancies, one has to use the minimum effective dose. This dose is, to some extent, based on a single criterion. In 36 patients who were to be operated, has been tested on test Adrenaline as performance index of the anterior hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenocortical before and after system operation. Furthermore, we have studied the behavior of daily blood eosinophils during postoperative period, temperature related. The Adrenaline Test has been very inconsistent without diagnostic value of functional status before hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenocortical system. For this reason, the test has no prognostic value indicative of the resistance of patients to surgery. It is a common idea that men in Pre‐Colombian Peru held the socio‐political power. Recently, many female elite burials from the Moche, Transitional and Lambayeque Periods are changing this idea. At least in these cultures, there appears to be a continuity of burials of high status women (possibly priestesses) and the matter in which they were treated and interred. Based on this evidence, in this thesis, I explain that based on the recent available archaeological data, that I believe The Transitional Period is in fact The Early Lambayeque period, of which very little data has been excavated.

The era of hunter - gatherers (ca. 10.000 to 2.000 BC), is an issue that has not been completed in the immediate vicinity to the Arequipa city. Research on this important period are explained using sites such as larger and more complex Sumbay caves in the high plateau, or the shell middens from Camana, in the coast, or Puyenca near to Mollendo on the coast, important archaeological sites but distantly located with respect to the Arequipa valley. A remarkable feature of some insects is the synchronized emergence of a large number of insects, such as cicadas that appear in bud ratios every 13 to 17 years. Therefore, this paper presents several mathematical models that explain such synchronized evolutions for certain life cycles in the cicada. For this purpose, a discrete model with lags, proposed by Hoppensteadt and Keller, is taken as a reference, where the population for a type of cicada incorporates a predator species and a carrying capacity in the environment. A qualitative analysis of this system is carried out to determine the existence of synchronized solutions, and the results are contrasted with other models.

This article analyses Catholicism, which had a great influence on the colonial baroque period. To this end, we rely on the story «Entre jesuitas, agustinos y dominicos» (Between Jesuits, Augustinians and Dominicans). We will develop the theme of the actions of this institution, such as the application of exaggerated punishments, the role of the Jesuits, the abuse of their justified power and the satire in the stories of Ricardo Palma. The purpose of our text is to show the great manifestation that Palma carried out in the chosen story, evidencing through quotations the level of corruption, how the Jesuits were represented, the abuse of the church and in what way Palma employs the use of satire and makes it go hand in hand with the history.

Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) is a term used for a group of pregnancyrelated tumors arising from defective proliferation of trophoblastic tissue. Its incidence after term pregnancy is infrequent, being diagnosed in most cases incidentally, due to symptoms of metastasis. We present a case of GTD that occurred 9 weeks after a vaginal delivery at term. The serum beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) level was 38 084 mIU/mL and a chest CT scan showed multiple pulmonary nodules. The patient received actinomycin D for 3 cycles. The β-hCG normalized after the third cycle and the patient remained disease-free for 12 months after diagnosis. The clinical presentation and challenges in diagnosing GTD in the late postpartum period are described.

These appear as «simple gestures» repeated by historians in each of their investigations. However, when analyzed carefully, this operation shows all its complexity, revealing its difficulty. This essay aims to draw attention on this issue.

The objective is to analyze the financial concepts that we work for the calculation of the periodic payments, as well as, to calculate the interest and the rates of the vehicular credit, in order to carry out this study, we extracted information from commercial intelligence portals, bank documents, theses and visited different banks located in metropolitan Lima, in this way, we had firsthand knowledge of the different options, modalities and facilities that we present each bank; with all the information obtained and we present here a calculation of the periodic payments and rates for vehicular credits.

Introduction: Birth is a mandatory environmental change for the fetus when turning into a newborn. The adjustment processes that occcur in the minutes following childbirth are crucially important for the babys survival in the extrauterine environment. High-altitude environmental conditions, particularly hypobaric hypoxia, make this adjustment period different from what occurs in babies born in a normoxic envirronment.
