Este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivos proporcionar ecuaciones prácticas para alumnos y profesionales que necesiten información de tipo hidráulica sobre pérdidas energéticas en tuberías de CPVC, elaborar diagramas explicativos sobre la forma de comportarse de las pérdidas energía del agua de alta temperatura, en relación a las variaciones de esta durante su funcionamiento (30,40,50, 60 y 70ºC) y aproximar las ecuaciones de gradiente hidráulico en relación a las diferentes temperaturas de operación con un diámetro comercial de ½ pulgada ,los cuales se harán en un prototipo adecuado específicamente para poder tener los resultados reales. In this paper we study hypersurfaces in R4 parametrized by lines of curvature with three distinct principal curvatures and with Laplace invariants mji = mki = 0; mjik 6= 0 for i; j; k distinct fixed indices. We characterize locally a generic family of such hypersurfaces in terms of the principal curvatures and three vector valued functions of one variable, this family includes a classe of Dupin hypersurfaces. Moreover, weshow that these vector valued functions are invariant under inversions and homotheties.

In this paper we study hypersurfaces in R4 parametrized by lines of curvature with three distinct principal curvatures and with Laplace invariants mji = mki = 0; mjik 6= 0 for i; j; k distinct fixed indices. We characterize locally a generic family of such hypersurfaces in terms of the principal curvatures and three vector valued functions of one variable, this family includes a classe of Dupin hypersurfaces. Moreover, weshow that these vector valued functions are invariant under inversions and homotheties.

In this work, using the Laplace invariants theory we give other proof for the following result: A proper Dupin hypersurfaces Mn for n ≥ 4 in Rn+1 with n distinct principal curvatures andconstant mobius curvature, cannot be parametrized by lines of curvature. Also, we study special classes of hypersurfaces Mn; n ≥ 3; in Rn+1, parametrized by lines of curvature with n distinct principal curvatures and we obtain a geometric relation when the Laplace invariants are vanish, we show that the foliations of Mn are umbilical hypersurfaces if and only if mijk = 0. Moreover, the foliations of Mn are Dupin hypersurfaces if and only if mij = 0.

Los equipos generadores de radiaciones médicas requieren de una metodología adecuada para evaluar las cantidades físicas: dosis absorbida. capa semirreductora (CS), rendimiento, entre otras para asegurar las condiciones óptimas de uso. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar métodos de parametrización para evaluar la dosis absorbida, la capa semirreductora y el rendimiento del equipo. Para medir las cantidades propuestas se utilizó una cámara de ionización PTW Freiburg TW23342 (calibrado para rayos X de baja energía). Los haces de rayos X diagnósticos evaluados son producidos por los equipos Shimadzu modelo Radiotex, y Philips modelo SRO 2550. En este articulo estudiamos superficies parametrizadas por líneas de curvatura. Obtenemos una caracterización de una clase de superficies con líneas de curvatura planas, esta caracterización depende de ciertas funciones holomorfas. Presentamos una clase de superficies con dos familias de líneas de curvatura planas, esta clase incluye las superficies de Dupin. También damos algunos ejemplos explícitos.

In this work, we present explicit parameterizations of hypersurfaces parameterized by lines of curvature with prescribed Gauss map and we characterize the hypersurfaces with planar curvature lines. As an applicationwe obtain a classification of isothermic surfaces with respect to the third fundamental form with two planar curvature lines. Also, we present a class of surfaces with one family of planar curvature lines and generalize these results to present classes of hypersurfaces with families of planar curvature lines.

A local parametrization for such envelopes is provided depending on an orthogonal local parametrization of Sn and their fundamental forms are described. Finally, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented so that such hypersurfaces are parametrized by lines of curvature and so that they are of rotation.

In this work, we study biharmonic surfaces that are parameterized by biharmonic coordinate functions. We study a class of biharmonic surfaces called graph-type biharmonic surfaces. Also, we define a class of surfaces associated to two harmonic functions (FH2A-surfaces), these surfaces satisfy a relation between the Gaussian curvature, the projection of the Gauss map on a fixed plane and two harmonic functions. We show that a particular class of graph-type biharmonic surfaces are FH2A-surfaces. Finally, we classify the FH2A-surfaces of rotation.

La presente tesis se enfoca en el comportamiento estructural de la conexión vigacolumna tipo chapa frontal extendida, con el objetivo de construir modelos matemáticos capaces de predecir su comportamiento en base a datos obtenidos mediante simulaciones numéricas. Para este fin se construyó un modelo numérico de elementos finitos de la conexión, donde sus propiedades geométricas y mecánicas fueron parametrizadas empleando el lenguaje APDL del software ANSYS Mechanical. Este modelo se validó con ensayos experimentales reportados por otros autores y se utilizó para elaborar una base de datos con 140 casos de estudio. Como resultados de las simulaciones se obtuvo el comportamiento de la curva momentorotación, así como la resistencia y la rigidez de la conexión para distintos valores de los parámetros geométricos y del momento. En la actualidad existe una gran variedad de servicios de telecomunicaciones enfocados en la transmisión de voz, video y datos a través de redes complejas, en muchos casos, el usuário final no es atendido con un nivel de calidad aceptable. En este trabajo, se evalua como un servicio de streaming de video en una red con Protocolo Internet (IP) puede ser afectado por condiciones adversas de la red, tales como la variación de retardo de paquetes (PDV – Packet Delay Variation), llamada de jitter. Son mostrados los resultados de evaluaciones objetivas e subjetivas de streaming de video que indican que la calidad de video es directamente afectada por factores de degradación de redes IP como el jitter.
