description El presente estudio fue elaborado por DINO S.R.L., correspondiente a la evaluación física de las canteras de explotación, las cuales están ubicadas en el distrito de Miguel Checa, provincia Sullana, departamento de Piura. En este estudio se presenta el trabajo de campo, las pruebas de laboratorio y la caracterización realizada a la unidad geológica - geotécnica que comprende los componentes mencionados. Como parte del trabajo realizado, se llevaron a cabo investigaciones geotécnicas del área en estudio, donde se realizó la caracterización del área, ensayos de campo, toma de muestras, ensayos de laboratorio y finalmente el procesamiento de la información recopilada. Para ello se tomaron muestras obteniendo resultados de ensayos geotécnicos los cuales nos permitirá determinar la estabilidad del talud en base a un factor de seguridad mínimo de forma que nos permita asegurar el talud en estudio. El resultado de laboratorio concluyó que los valores del factor de seguridad de análisis estático y seudoestático en la cantera sur sección A-A fue igual a 1.88 y 1.137 respectivamente, factor de seguridad de análisis estático y seudoestático en la sección B-B fue igual a 1.676 y 1.071 para y finalmente como factor de seguridad de análisis estático y seudoestático la sección C-C fue igual a 1.563 y 1 respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos para asegurar la estabilidad del talud de la Cantera Sur en la concesión Sojo 03 de acuerdo a los requerimientos de estabilidad geotécnica sobrepasan el Factor de Seguridad (FS) igual a 1.5 lo que permitirá a los objetivos del presente proyecto.

In this study the field work, the laboratory tests and the characterization made to the geological - geotechnical unit comprising the aforementioned components are presented. As part of the work carried out, geotechnical investigations of the area under study were carried out, where the characterization of the area, field tests, sampling, laboratory tests and finally the processing of the collected information was carried out. For this, samples were taken obtaining results of geotechnical tests which will allow us to determine the stability of the slope based on a minimum safety factor in order to ensure the study slope.
